Jags gameplanned for Brock, not Tom. Let's see when a defense game plans for him.

This. I remember when Mallet came in for Hoyer, Hoyer in for Mallet, and Yates in for Fitz... doesn't mean the next game will be as good.

It was a big mistake to IR Savage last year. They should've kept him on the active roster and let him play when the other QB's started going down last year. That way Savage would've gotten much needed experience. This isn't Monday morning QB'ing either. I said this when Savage was put on IR.

There were 2 more that Hopkins could have had but one he dropped when he got hit by Ramsey near the sideline and the TD he dropped

You can play that game with Fartweiler too. That TD was not an easy catch by any means, and when a DB makes a good play it can also mean the QB chose his target poorly (i.e. put Hopkins in a position to get clobbered). Savage didn't play like I-Rap's tweet suggests he did. No need to sugar coat that, because we're not going back to Brock.

Hey guys, just a thought. We all know Brock Osweiler has sucked and everything. But it happened, he got benched and we did better. We now have a QB with the name Savage which is... well... Savage (I hope Mercilus comes back next week).

But can we refrain from acting like 10 yr olds or Denver fans? Is there really a need to call him Assweiler or some other derogatory term-weiller?
I don't understand it. Maybe that's just me.

Buttchin can stay... That's just hilarious.

The nickname "assweiler" is one of the only good things to come out of the brock era. Let us have our toys.

I agree, it's very childish and says a lot about those posters.

He played okay, but all the hype is starting to sound like the hype for Mallet after the Cleveland game a few years ago.....

I haven't been paying attention to the QB controversy. Did you guys invest a bunch of smacktalk and rep into defending Brock this season, or are you normally just buzzkills?

Agreed.. Until I see him in a game where the defense actually game-planned for him, I am not in full support.

I didn't go all out defending him, I said he was bad but I wanted him to do well (like most posters). I sat in a section that chanted Tom savage and cheered when Brock was benched. I was even calling for him to be benched. That said, it didn't feel good hearing everyone shove the win in Brock's face, and I'm sorry if being against calling someone names is being a buzzkill. At least make it clever... someone who misses a lot of throws: Brick Osweiler? But I guess calling him poopy head works too. I'll just go back to reading, carry on.
