Haven't the games proven that a Yao/Hayes combo is more productive than a Yao/Howard. And I just love how defenses will leave Hayes to collapse on Yao, only to allow Hayes to slip into the paint for an easy layup.

You are YOH, aren't you? Start JHo means Yao off bench.

This is a lot worse than my, I am better than Rafer Alston thread, have you seen how many open layups Chuck Hayes gets, layups > Mid Range shot.

nobody agrees with me. If Yao contributed more offensively, we should start hayes, but now I think we should go for haward with yao's defensive focus. We will see how this will go into the playoffs.

That doesn't make any sense. It's not like our starting lineup is lacking offensive fire power. Yao is still a potent offensive force.

I would rather start hayes, but that is what our starting lineupis lacking. No one can create for themselves. Yao and tmac are the only good offensive players that start.

You just contradicted yourself. Yao and T-Mac can create for themselves. Our starters play great together.

I still think we should trade juwan- if you just focus on mid-range shooting he is doing a good job. But most of the time his defensive assignments are covered by Battier and others ( at the PF spot)- Juwan for his age is doing good. But that does not mean he is the best option for the team. He is here for ONLY one reason- JVG's relationship with him. We need to get a serious PF option- Juwan +BOB sura - are preventing that from a salary perspective
Well! I would even settle for a premier PG

So you are a YOH. Yao is the best center in the NBA, and when healthy can be counted on to drop 25 a game. You want to make HOWARD an offensive option because Yao can't be counted on to score?? WTF??? Yao with one hand tied behind his back is still a better scorer than Howard.

Trade him for what? Who is going to give the Rockets anything for him? Juwan is a very good backup PF. How many backup PFs are playing better than he is right now? If any, it's a short list. I'm all for trading him if it makes the Rockets better but he is more valuable to us than other teams perceive him. Juwan isn't on the roster because of JVG's relationship with him, it's his contract and age that are the problem.

Still, if a GM for another team goes on crack and gives us a solid rotation player in return, I would make that trade in a hurry.
