I'm definitely surprised this thread's star rating went from 1 to 2...maybe its because you've been replying to every post? Anyway just to pile on what everyone is saying its definitely not a good idea to start Chase, I don't think giving him the starting position will make him more confident, what he needs is a stint in the d league where he can put up 16-5-4 or something. Rather than continue to worry about a single player, I think its better to take him out and put in T-will and see what he can bring to the table. I like Chase' skills but his D has been horrible as of late, and that playmaking sense he had his rookie year is gone.
In somewhat related news, Jawad Williams was waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers today. http://www.fearthesword.com/2010/12/27/1898652/cavaliers-waive-f-jawad-williams?ref=yahoo Guy can't survive on the basement dweller Cavs team, but his best game of the season was 13 points on 75% shooting against our one and only C-Bud.
I am guessing you are pretty young, because this is something you learn in middle school, high school, and college. In this world, we have statistical terminology to describe said phenomenons called: - Variance - Standard of deviation - Outlier - Probability No team is guaranteed to beat a less skilled team 100% of the time because players are not perfect. Sometimes a franchise player might have a bad game or is in a shooting slump and the other team is hyped up and perform at a level beyond their normal capabilities. However, statistics and logic do tell us what type of performance we can expect on a consistent basis and this season, Bud has consistently sucked. Promoting a player who has consistently remained useless this season is the height of stupidity.
Dang, good find. I remember that game. Williams looked really good against C-Bud. I guess that didn't impress his bosses very much.
Resurrecting this thread. Now is the time to start Chase. His stroke is working. Let him run up and down to start the game and get to firing playing next to Martin. Yes, it will make our defense suck even worse but the high energy offensive firepower is at the start of the game as most defensive players play it conservatively so as to avoid foul trouble and be factors down the stretch. With his stroke actually working right now, it would be good to stick him in there beside Lowry and Martin and let him get off early. Let him jack and hit and raise his trade value even more.
so someone realized the idea wasn't as stupid as it came off, unlike many others in this thread...now the idea is a reality. HA.
was hoping for anyone that bashed me in this thread, to come back in and tell me now whats going to happen...
