I played a game or two and it was really bad. I think i'm spoiled from League of Legends

But on that note, marine arena/nexus wars/income wars are all really realllly fun.

Great news.. my laptop hp g60 is able to run this game! albeit at the lowest settings but its very playable and there is little to no lag.

I'm at the campaign mission now where i have to extract 7 crystal thingies from a protoss world... its tough. (playing on hard)

I haven't spent any credits yet.. thinking that there will be something leet later in the game that i should save my money for..

That mission isn't too hard. Just create a Marine/Marauder/Medic bio-ball and roam the map. Keep producing units and leave them at your base for a bit before adding them to your main force because you'll get attacked every now and then. You might want to split your force in two at one point when the Protoss start trying to lock down two Terrazine altars at once. If you've got a big enough force, you can probably take down the Protoss base in the north.

Oh, and as far as upgrades go, just upgrade what you use the most. And don't forget about using Mercs. They can be helpful in a pinch.

Apparently, Blizz will be offering a free name change for everyone, since a lot of people thought they were creating a name just for the single player.

Subsequent name changes will cost a fee however.

I don't own SC2 but a friend gave me a link to this replay and it's probably the best replay I've ever seen.

Warning: The replay is almost a half hour long but its worth it.

One of the coolest ones, yes. I wouldn't say it's the best, though. Some of the crap TheLittleOne pulls on a regular basis amazes me. Still, MasterAsia's move at the very end surprised me and was absolutely brilliant (so was TT1's idea, actually).

I've played the single player campaign and beat it on "normal." I'm playing it again and trying to make different choices, which is fun. After this, I'll try playing it on "hard." The single player campaign is the best single player campaign I've ever played, from any game. This game is amazing! My major complaint is that I can't play the game offline, which sucks, big time. I had an internet outage tonight for a little less than an hour, decided to play, and couldn't. You have to have an online connection to play offline, which is just incredibly STUPID!!!

    What...no...

You can play offline. You just won't get achievements.

I just tried it before my internet connection came back on and in order to play, I had to connect to their site. I didn't make that up. Now maybe there's some way of playing offline that I have yet to discover. I hope so, because if there's not, that's a major bummer!

Somewhat long post incoming because Blizzard sucks

I just disabled my wireless and tried, and what do you know, it says I need to activate my account and need a character....even though I had done all that on day 1.

So I get online, connect once onto b.net, then log off, turn off wireless, and then connect again and now this time it correctly takes me to my character screen and displays the "blah blah you're offline are you sure you wanna continue you won't get achieves" warning.

If I had to guess, I'd say that since you need a character to play at all, every time the game gets a new patch, it deletes your local copy of your character and you have to connect to b.net to get it back. So if you just open the launcher, patches the game but then close the launcher without connecting to b.net, you can't play singleplayer offline....

Or something like that...I don't know, b.net 2.0 sucks
