If you are familiar with any real-time strategy games. It shouldn't be hard to pick up. It's still pretty easy to pick up even if you never play it.
I'm going to Wal-Mart to pick up a copy at midnight. I plan on getting there at around 11:15. Hopefully that will reserve me a spot eligible for a copy.
Unless you're in Russia or Mexico, they have a $29.99 version that makes you pay of bnet after 6 months

Don't buy a laptop for gaming...unless you currently have no laptops and need something for mobility anyway
It's Starcraft and it's the type of game that you would want to have it on a laptop if you like to play it anywhere and over lan and doesn't really need a highend laptop to play it.
I went ahead a bought a "reserved copy" from Best Buy, but I think I'll return that tomorrow so I can get this at midnight. The wait has been too long.
Where'd you hear that? When I check the Store Locator at Best Buy, it still shows they are hosting midnight releases.
I made the mistake or pre-ordering on GameStop online. By the time I figured out I could do a digital download at midnight, I couldn't cancel my pre-order.
Oh yeah, it does look like it depends on the store. I checked the Events for other stores around my area and they aren't hosting midnight release while the Willowbrook store is.
I'll be very surprised if I can't get a return from Best Buy, but I'll check first to see if they're doing a midnight thingy at my local one.
I'm heading over to Best Buy now. The first 75 people are supposed to get Starcraft II posters. FAR OUT!!
