Well, you'll see the trailer very soon. But it looks like we perhaps haven't seen the last of Palpatine just yet.. Should be an interesting march to December.
Looks promising. But so did The Last Loser. Which had its moments, but was, you know, like, totally stupid. Or like the Brits on the day after the Brexit vote when they had Googled "what is the EU?" "Can we have a do-over?"
After the last disaster of a movie, I will not be contributing any more to the franchise as long as Kathleen Kennedy is around. She has completely ruined the franchise I started loving as a child in the 70's.
Whatever. Wake me up for the next Star Wars story. I've pretty much given up on sequels. Of course, I'll still take my kids to see it.....but I'm not getting excited about any more of these trailers....no matter who is laughing at the end of them....
Both The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi wasted so many grand opportunities but The Last Jedi was an excruciable piece of garbage.
Yeah, I will watch it, fortunately I'll probably wait to catch it after release to streaming/blu ray. Haven't been too Happy with much of these, other than the effects/Darth Vader in Rogue One.. (well that one was pretty good, just didn't like inevitable ending), I guess part of 7, haven't been too excited with the death of everyone. This basically was something that no one needed but since Disney prints money they'll keep them coming, can't wait for 10-12 then maybe they can get some new characters I'm interested in, hahah
lol @ not watching it TLJ was still better than AOTC and probably better than Phantom Menace (only thing saving that movie was Maul) If you didn't bail after watching Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones back to back, then you are dumb for bailing after TLJ. And I was disappointed in TLJ and TFA myself.
I really liked Force Awakens and it got me pretty hyped for the rest of the series. The Last Jedi was a buzzkill. I’ll still see this opening weekend but not nearly as excited as I could have been.
I'm going to watch it for sure, these last 2 were better than 1-3, but that probably wasn't too hard to do, hahah. I absolutely did not like 1 or 2 (3 was better, right? I might be recalling wrong as I prefer to forget that mess) . The problem I'm having is that 4-5, and then 6 (had its parts but not as good as 4-5) were all better than these. Maybe it's nostalgia or whatever, but I still think 4-6 set the bar too high, especially 5. I mean 7 is basically A New Hope. Obviously the new visual effects are wonderful but the movie doesn't get me interested in the new characters and that's my main issue.
Isn't the Disney deal going to be done by then? "Disney Monopoly Stream" or whatever it'll be called.
Outside of the original movies, episode 3, and Rogue One, the rest have been hot garbage. These last 2 have been especially terrible. None of the characters are compelling. Like the prequels, the focus is so much on special effects that the characters aren't properly developed, the relationships feel forced, and the main villain is so boring. Also, I'm done with call backs to the previous movies, I DON'T GIVE A CRAP! Focus on your current characters and create a story line that makes sense and not a complete waste of time (Last Jedi).
