hey i just wanted to say that i think stanford will take it. they hav a team with smart asses all around, theyve already had their slump, and i c no downside btw i love my boy maddog madsen
You are funny. Stanford is a peice of **** team that will get knocked out. Talk about some real team. Right now in my mind Duke has the best chance. ------------------ President of the Moochie Norris FAN CLUB
for moochies sake, ill be nice i rooted for Duke last year. it didnt happen. instead, they let a fat ass drug addict run the show. whats that about mr.franchize???
Stanford has zero chance of making the playoffs. Who are they anyhow, one of those piss ant Eastern Conference teams without a center? Why don't I even have them on my Rockets schedule? Why are we even talking about them? This is a Rockets forum?
we mite want maddog on our team now wont we? btw... what happend to my boy alfred lee. i want him on our team. he lead stanford to the final four.
Stanford is probably the only school where hardly any of their players will be drafted in the first round even though they have a talented squad. They probably all going to grad school. ------------------ The Countdown has been terminated..and March Madness has arrived!!! ..And we're there to report it... www.draftsource.net
Stanford is going home. oh, and the Rockets already had two dogs. They dont need no more. ------------------ "Whooaa." - Ted
One, you're definitely not going to Stanford with that kind of spelling. Two, this is the Rockets 2000 forum. Where we talk about the Rockets. College basketball threads can be posted in the BBS Hangout forum. So that's where I'm moving this. Thanks.
Stanford will be lucky to get as far as they did last year. I believe Ohio State will beat them in the semis, unless Stanford loses earlier. They are completely overrated. ------------------ Bring It!!
Well, I think you're overrating Ohio State. And I'm a Buckeye fan, so believe me it pains me to say so. We're gonna have our hands full with Miami, FL in the second round. As for Stanford, they're a very good team. Their main problem is that their leading scorer is a freshman, Casey Jacobsen. This does not portend well for their chances of making the Final Four. Aside from the Fab Five (d'oh!), it's extremely rare for a freshman-led team to advance to the Final Four.
wasn't it Arthur Lee???... anyhoo, i don't know what he's up to now... i'm not too sure about Stanford winning it all, so my favorites for the tournament are Duke and Arizona. [This message has been edited by Drag-On 88 (edited March 14, 2000).]
Ah ah ah-- careful now. OSU lost to an Illinois team with a losing record in last year's tourney and ended up in the Final Four.
Cant blame them for jumping on the bandwagon though can u? Scoonie Penn and Michael Redd are a great tandem. This is no fluke team. PS: Neither is Stanford
his senior season was last year, so he might be playin' in the CBA or somewhere overseas... or he might not even be playin' ball anymore, who knows??? [This message has been edited by Drag-On 88 (edited March 14, 2000).]
yah... #11 Arthur Lee was so off da heezy when he played at Stanford... i remember when him and Brevin Knight were backcourt mates... they were fun to watch ps. Stanford got nice uniforms, huh?...
