Is he a good enough coach for the Rockets to consider firing McHale to go after him? I think McHale did a fine job under the circumstances. I also think he will be better next year with a full offseason and training camp. However, SVG is one of the top coaches out there.

Top 10 drtg in all of those years posted, CH. Git-r-done Moor-e. But seriously, I'm perfectly fine with giving Mchale another 2 years
IIRC, Rockets were interested last year. With that said, not happening. Well it could, but very unlikely. Although with Les running things you never know.
What a shock that a guy named "VanGundier" wants another one. You know what though, either would be a vast upgrade to McFail. Ratings between the 3. 1. Adelman 2. JVG 3. SVG 9999999999. McHale. DD
SVG is a top 5 coach in this league. The job he did in the '09 playoffs with a hurt Jameer was an absolute coaching masterpiece. He would be a huge upgrade over McHale
He would, but he also would not draw a single prima donna superstar player to play for him either. DD
But Kevin McHale's our coach. And no...he's not getting fired after 1 year so we can go after SVG. Look...give McHale time to do his job. He inherited a trash heap, and it'll take him more than 1 season to get us back to relevance.
WTF? McHale did not inherit a trash heap, he inherited a near playoff team, and basically put in new (Like) pieces and uh....acheived the same mediocre results. But this team was more talented than last years team, overall. DD
