I agree he could have dissented in a better way, but I don't see he really attacked kpsta personally -- he merely casted a doubt on the story itself. The various righteous reactions to pryuen's posts are far more hilarious.
We all highly appreciate what pryuen has done for the forum and we love yao too. But I also think pryuen should say something for his inconsiderate manner, not just orverlooking the criticisms.
I don't know if that is necessary. How about pryuen just cuts off his left pinky and mails it to kpsta as a gesture of good will?
kpsta Thanks for your "forgiveness". The reason I have doubted what you posted was that I had just completed and posted a translation of an article (by Wang Meng) that Yao Ming continued his workout in Toyota Centre on Saturday (the day that the Rockets flew out to Minnesota for its game against the Timberwolves), then I read your thread. That was why I said to myself WTF was Yao Ming flying to Chicago, when he was working out in Toyota Centre ? And all along I really thought that with a broken leg, it is not advisable to fly on a plane. Remember April last year, when he broke his foot, per doctor's advice, Yao Ming could not fly to Washington to join the Presidential Luncheon that George W Bush threw for President Hu Jintao at the White House??
No worries, you're an obsessed fan... and I can't think of too many basketball players out there more worthy of that than Yao. Unfortunately, I don't remember the April 2006 events very well... I confess that I'm a little behind in updating the crayola timeline/diagram on my living room wall of Yao's off-court activities. My girlfriend thinks it's a little weird anyway.
