as always i have to comment about the game... i know i had a decent first half but i have to apologize for the second. i was lazy and throughout the half yall were playing 4 on 5.. we are a better team but when we miss shots we cant let it result in a layup or in tonights case a dunk. i think we played well enough to win but i think they wore us down.... i know they wore me down.... i look forward, not really, to seeing how many layups they got..(or dunks) if we limit those layups and hit a few more freethrows this game is ours easily.. again i apologize.. hopefully my conditioning will be better playoffs.. good game guys.
Yea this was a tough loss. We were up around 12 points in the first half then they just turned it up a notch the 2nd half and we couldnt keep up. I dont know why but this loss feels worse than when we got cheated the first game. At least we know that we have a chance to beat any team, so in the playoffs anything is possible. I think everyone was tired at the end, they ran us non-stopped.

So what is yall's record now? We're 3-2 after knocking off Mhi Ballers... I stuck around to watch the Perfection Ranch vs Bravenuts game..not a lick of D was played..Bravenuts won in ot Did yall previously say that Perfection ranch was supposedly the best team in the league?
We're 2-3, although according to the "official" standings we are 3-2. They got the scores mixed up when we lost to Scottford Homes, so we got credit for a win. Then again, the refs gave us one hell of a screw job at the end of that game so it's kind of appropriate. I'm sure it'll be straightened out in the end though. Judging by the last C League we played in, Perfection Ranch was the best team, I think. This time around I have no idea who the best team is. A lot of them seem to not have all the players show up every week, from what I can tell. I'd say the best is either Brave Nutz, Redemption, or Perfection Ranch, but when we played PR they didn't have a few of their big guys it seemed so they barely beat us. As far as our team goes, our 3 losses have only been by 7, 6, and 8 points, so I figure we can hang with anybody if we can make the playoffs. We've been unfortunate not to have a consistant lineup all season. A couple of injuries here and there, two starters dropping from the team completely due to scheduling conflicts, not to mention some new players coming in and trying to get the chemistry down. I'm pleased with the way we've played, but it could always be better.
Definetly was a hard loss to take considering e were playing so well at the begining. They really just started running and we couldn't keep up since we only had 5. Even the ref came up to me after the game and told me we should have used the time outs to stop their runs and get our breath. We really have to use those next time, we might have been a little fresher. I'll apologize for by far one of my worst games of the season. I couldn't hit the side of a barn with my shots last night. I was very off and it showed and just a couple of those open looks going in would have been a difference for us. Sorry about that hopefully ill get out of this funk.
the ref said the same thing to me after i went up to him after the game. i told him that i dont think we have used a timeout all season... sometimes shots go in and sometiems they dont stack. it was hard to make anything in the 2nd half becuase im sure our legs were gone from all that running. btw, clutch, you forgot to add a technical to my stats...im proud of it.
that is a very accurate comparison. me and stack watched them play before our game 2 weeks ago. they seemed very fundemental but not quick nor incredably athletic. both have a good outside shot. that team might be a good team to play man against and make sure we stay tight on their "stockton and hornacek".
