We won..but not in the way we should given the competition. We definitley played to level of our competition. We could have gone ahead real quick but no one was shooting well at all. Either way a win is a win.
In hindsight I think we should have played man to man, but we're used to playing zone now, and we will need to play zone against just about every other team, so I guess it's good to get in extra practice. We didn't play badly, we just didn't shoot well. In fact, I think I missed a couple more shots while typing this reply.
I think we have ony 2 fastbreak points. Ishot nothing but 3's and i think i didn't even take a dribble when i got the ball. I guess i will do a better job of putting the ball on the floor next time. Next thing tomorrow morning is Free Throws for sure!
So our opponent forefitted 2nite..and we got a bye next week..and the schedule is not posted any further than next week...I talked to the score keeper and he said that which was posted should be the whole league then playoffs...but I'm going to call Marcus about that 2-1 and it doesn't feel good at all So I only recognized Maloney (Clutchcity Returns) and Stack (cuz of his number 24)
Hey man. The scorekeeper said the playoffs start after the remaining schedule? That's bullsh!t. What is that, like 3 actual PLAYED games for both of our teams? And we're supposed to shell out like $400 for that? I'm not one to complain because I understand it's just a YMCA league and it's not life and death, but that is downright unacceptable and I feel like we're getting fu(ked out of our money big time. Marcus can lick my balls.
Well he said not to completely take his word for it...thus I'm going to call Marcus 2morrow and see what he says...as far as I know we're owed like 2 make up games...which would only make for like 5 total games...I'm used to at least like 6-7 games per league This is really leaving a bad taste in my mouth about where I want to play in my next league...because the city of houston is having a league but that doesn't start till like october...so I was thinking I could squeez in one more league before then....we'll see now I'll post whatever Marcus tells me tomorrow...
If what the scorer guy is saying is true then its just wrong because they did say that the games will be made up. I will give marcus a little bit ch ing too.
The team before us was kind of pissed too. I remember them saying something like "great that's 3 games in a row" I think they haven't really played a game or something.... For some reason this season has been really crappy. Also when i got there around 7 pm before the first game i noticed that all the doors were locked and you couldn't get in. I asked the front door how do i get in since it's a league tonight she said don't worry go through the Main enterance. Then i heard the girl at the desk tell the other one. "Man Marcus really needs to be on top of things and take care of the League" he was supposed to be the one that has everything ready for the games. Really sucks to pay that much money and have no real organization.
new league to join seriously. just keeps getting worse and worse this season. about the game though, poor shooting, under playing, and not playing smart almost did us in. i spent most of this game on the bench but i clearly saw things we should of done. like clutch mentioned, man to man would of shut them down entirely...their only points would of come from the free throw line. there is no way any on of them were quicker than any of us. i believe i told rocketfire and stack to change up the D but Im not sure they wanted to. it aggrevates me that this team had a chance to win this game...we should of killed them. we have played man defense both season prior to this season, and its worked pretty good. granted i know we cant do that with the teams we are playing but we are still a strong defensive team. anyways we won and on to thursday where i hope to do somethin to get me off my 0-fer for the season. 1 point total...geez

Yeah that was us..the Gamecocks...we *played* b4 yall...for a second I thought yall were our opponents...but the Ballers or whatever their name is didnt' show...But yeah We've had 2 games cancelled (4th of july and weather)...one bye already...the forefit from yesterday and a bye next week....
