No it's an older guy that runs the league.

stack, complaining might be pointless because i cant imagine no one has complained before about this marcus and still he runs it. i guess its worth a try...i wouldnt mind complaining on the score keeper as well. hes messed up a couple times, that we have noticed, and kerry says hes always on his cell phone. the refs have to tell him countless amounts of times to do something with the scoreboard. when you confront him on a mistake, all he does is get an attitude and acts like a prick.

as mogrod has said before, this is the type of stuff you can expect from a ymca run league...but just some of these things on a consistent basis is kind of ridiculous.

Well yeah i guess it might do no good, but always worth a shot....i don't know if anyone has ever went directly to the YMCA and said anything about the league...It was never like this in the past and i guess it's just going downhill with the way they run it.

Next session we might want to think about playing in another league like Club MOnkey or something. i have played in their leagues and they seem a lot more on top of stuff and have a good number of teams as well.

If you guys need a Charles Oakley-like enforcer for boxing out the other team's best rebounder and someone that can set an actual pick, then I'm so in for next season if there are any spots...

I can come in off the bench or be on the practice squad only... I just wanna play.

I'm not in gameshape now or nowhere near it, but I will be next season...

    lemme know...

Hmm...maybe we won't be out there. Josh's sister went into labor last night so he's running on no sleep right now. Damn babies...always getting in the way of some pick up basketball.

damn, those were some good games

i was in a rhythm tonight, unlike the past weeks, and it was great to be making most of my shots (even though i missed a couple of layups that would've gauranteed us that last win   )

any updates, DarkHorse? that fall looked painful, and your knee hitting the floor and bouncing back up didnt look good either.

Hey guys, just checking in. We don't have Internet going at our apartment, yet.

So the knee is still pretty bad. I have a doctor's appointment set up for Monday to check it out. I decided not to go to the emergency room or anything.

My brother-in-law and brother are both chiropractors, and both were conveniently coming into town over the weekend to visit since we just moved back to Houston. They both worked on it and I'm actually able to walk on it again (although I'm still pretty creaky). They got the swelling down quite a bit, and restored a lot of range of motion. I still think there's a pretty good chance that I tore a ligament of some kind, but I guess only an MRI will be able to say for certain.

However, looks like I'll be out of the mix for a little while. It sucks, but at least I can walk away knowing that I was undefeated at the apartments during my brief stay. ;) Sure we might have lost that game I got injured in, but whose to say?

In conclusion, that travelling call against me was pure BS.

    :)

Well I left him a comment card but if you all have something more powerful in mind then I'm certain me and my team would be behind that...So barring no more sillyness we have 2 games then a bye...we play at 10pm 2morrow...
Sorry to hear yall have a bye

Hey guys, so I saw a guy today and he did some tests on my knee. I haven't gotten an MRI yet, but in the test today my right ACL was definitely loose, which means at least a partial if not a complete ACL tear.

    :(

I guess I'm out for the season.

Wow sorry to hear that...hopefully it's not as bad as a full tear.
