Yeah after my shot was off at the begining i didn't want to shoot anymore and i took a few closer shots which went in. BUt i got into a mode of hesitation which is the worst thing you can do if your a shooter. Josh and you were saying to keep shooting but i started looking more to pass rather than shoot becuase i was really off during the game for some reason...i know it's the only way to get out of the slump is to shoot it but last thing i wanted to do was keep missing that bad.
anyone have a problem warming up during games because of it being so cold in there... I have a big problem during shoot-around getting my shot on target because of it...Im constantly rubbing my hands together and blowing in them. Might be because of the nerves as well though...
I still had a sharp pain in it when I would run or jump, but it's just something I'll try to toughen out and play through. It hurt me worse mentally than anything cause my brain still has delay knowing there will be a pain. I missed a few rebounds just because there was a split-second delay between my brain and legs and one of their guys would out quick me to the ball. The hardest thing was just playing for the first time since that first season (almost a year). I felt a step slow on everything. Thanks for asking.
So what is the word from Adam? I was hoping to hear by now so we could either get a replacement or know how our roster will look for the rest of the season.

yea I was wondering the same thing but I guess that is some good news. I mentioned this a couple pages back, but does anyone feel like we need to change our name? I would like to if we can come up with something else. Plus, its hard to find and/or come up with a decent logo for the site.

They are obviously jokes, but now that I look at "The Logo" it may not be so bad. Obviously the logo for the site could just be THE logo. By the way rushour, I too felt it was a little chilly in the gym the other day. Although I'm sure at least a little of it had to do with the anxiety of venturing back into C League again. I always prefer warmer gyms...almost to the point that they feel like a sauna...but maybe that's just me. Can't stand the cold though, that's for damn sure. Also, rushour, did you e-mail h-townfan with directions to the apartments? He's contacted me a couple of times trying to find out but I only know how to get there by memory. I made a post further up on this page saying he should contact you about it.
Ok, good to see you got in touch with him. Josh is a b**** and even though I asked him LAST WEEK if he'd go tonight and he has said yes every time I've asked him since then, he backed out last night. So, he is 95% unlikely to show. Actually looks like a good thing now. By the way, I can't seem to edit my posts right now. Is it just me?
if folks are willing to stay late, probably won't be so bad. i'd hate to show up, wait, play one game, and then everyone is gone. i guess we'll see.
I'm always down to stay as late as there's a game going on. Hell, even 21 or 1 on 1. I've got no place to be, so why not play some ball? That's how I look at it.
I have to say that 'Almost Gay' gave me a good laugh but I would hate to see the reaction by other teams when they read the schedule. But then again it could give us a bit of an advantage
