Yao Wink's idea is probably the most ideal. let him play the first game to see how it goes. If not I think htown-fan, lance, berkman, darkhorse are in the bushes waiting right? Just pro-rate their fee :D

Yeah, sounds like a plan to me. htown-fan would be a nice addition to the frontcourt for sure. I guess we'll see what happens.

Just figured I'd quote this to confirm that Adam is back in for tonight, apparently. :)

What do you guys think about having an official roll call every game day? If someone doesn't check in by X:XX PM, then we try and contact people on the 'alternatives' list?

(and yes, I did reply to my quote)

One question we never really touched upon was who was gonna kind of be in charge of the team and handle the substitutions and minutes...last year we had biggie that headed that up from the sidelines...

I think it's just going to come down to people putting their egos aside and coming out when they're tired. In this league we need fresh bodies out there, so I guess if you're on the bench and you see someone loafing out there you go sub for them (unless they happen to be on fire, I guess). We're all grown men so I think we should be able to handle it.

Great game guys. Although we all could have done more to ensure a victory, I think we played pretty well as a team. I liked how we were always looking for the open man and played with intensity.

Hey CCR, you still have time to put together a highlight video? (not that I had many, but it was cool to see.)

Btw, thanks to rusH's girl for taping.

Lost in OT by 5 pts, 60 to 55. We were in control of the game the entire time until some unfortunate calls went against us and we committed a few untimely turnovers.

Dam this was the ****iest day of my life. Sorry guys for not showing up but i just couldn't come. I couldn't get my car back at night, couldn't get home to pick up my clothes and got stuck with old relatives. They don't even have an internet. I feel very sad.

Don't be so political. We were ROBBED!!! :D

Up 2 with 5 seconds, dude drives in and Yao stuffs the sh** out of him. Of course, the ref thinks the ball is the player's head and calls a foul. Guy makes both to go to overtime.

Of course, this is the same game I witnessed for the first time a travel call on moving arms. Its almost as if the refs were out to get Adam as bad of calls they had towards him.

What was up with their cheering section? Who brings their parents to watch them in an adult league?

    Anyway, good game guys.

I'm telling you, the YMCA doesn't like the team.

Good game everybody. Too bad the refs decided to call the game completely different in the second half (aka screw us). I just got done watching the video with Adam and neither of his travels (fake behind his back, and the final posession of regulation) were actually travels. Not even close really. It was equally funny and upsetting to see it on video. Also, the refs are full of **** on the timeout that the other team called at the end of regulation.

The refs basically said that they rolled the ball in, picked it up, then called timeout. Wrong. When the whistle blew for the timeout, the ball was still rolling on the ground...it's not even debateable. You can't call timeout without posession of the ball! Everyone knows this (except the stupid refs).

Not to mention Yao's clean block that gave the guy 2 free throws to send it to overtime, and the fact that we weren't given the ball at halfcourt after our timeout. As much as we still could have and should have won, we were put in horrible situations left and right toward the end and just couldn't un-screw our way out of them.

As far as a highlight video, I will do it before the next game as usual. This time I will probably go ahead and make a low-light video as well, starring the refs.

Stats should be up soon...maybe tomorrow night would be a good time to look out for them. They may not be 100% accurate but I'll try my best. Rush's girl missed the first couple of minutes of each half and the ref got in the way of a lot of the footage. Most of the game turned out fine though, so I'm not complaining. I'm glad she's there to help us out. With the way the refs stand in the way, I think it would be a lot better to tape from the bleachers though, if that's ok with her. I just want to get accurate stats for everyone to avoid confusion. :)

Its a simple explanation. NBA screwes Yao Ming with foul calls, YMCA screwes Yao Wink with a foul call.

Again, Im sorry for not showing up.[/SIZ]

Also its good to know that our team can handle the situation if one of us can't keep his words. :p
