I'm not really sure what you're trying to prove, DREAMer...but...uh...you certainly work hard to prove it! :p

Its its not too much trouble can you personally state the dates of these horrendous shooting acts in your posts?

First, thank you for typing my username correctly. It's not a big deal, but it shows a little courtesy.

Secondly, I'm sure you saw the thread about Hakeem shooting 0 - 11 in a Pre-season game. I made this thread the next day (or the day after that) to show that just because someone was young(er) and in their prime (28.9 ppg is pretty "prime") doesn't mean they won't go 0'fer.

Then, I had the idea to see just how poorly "other" NBA players around the league shot, and especially in comparison to Hakeem.

So far, Hakeem has not made MY list (admittedly by my standards). People such as: Michael Jordan, Vince Carter, Michael Finley, Rasheed Wallace, Steve Francis, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, etc have made it.

Just look at the date in which I posted it. So far, I think, there's only one post I made that wasn't on the day of the actual games, and I posted the date on that one.

Usually, I just go through the scoreboard at the end of the night and post all the crappy shooter's results. Obviously, if I posted at 3:00 am (like this one) then the stats are from earlier that night.

What exactly are your standards DREAMer?

(Check that, I just saw your standards up above)

It's going to be difficult for Hakeem to match some of those horrible shooting games because he won't be in the game long enough to heave up 17 shots like a Rasheed Wallace or Jerry Stackhouse...

Also it should be noted that Dream's 43% FT shooting leaves a lot to be desired...

lol! This is exactly what I was thinking while I watched Hakeem's stats throughout the season... he barely gets to jack up but about 8 shots a game and he's shooting 44.6%. Even better : his FT% is lower than that FG%... Hakeem's shooting 43.5% from the line. Nice to know the man can still rebound. Oh, and he can also block shots (especially with the aid of statisticians that like to pad some stats! :D).

Are NBA players getting better?", you ask, since we only have two losers tonight. Well, the answer is "NO". There were only two games on the schedule tonight.

Uh, DREAMer, I think we get the point that players can have bad shooting nights.

You're the only one posting in this thread now, maybe you could just keep these little stats in a notebook or something?

Maybe you can keep them along side all of those old Tecmo Bowl stats you have!

I will continue.

With approximately 750 views, it's obvious that people are at least interested in who shot poorly on the night.

--------------------------
DoD,

Are you just waiting for Dream to make the list? Or are you one of those who like to see who had a bad night?
