Also - don't drink 3 of them if you haven't eaten a full meal in 2 days. My stomach wants to punch me in the face this morning
The Shiner Holiday Cheer is out too. A buddy of mine swears by it so I found a sixer and just had my first bottle. Not bad.....not bad at all. I'll have to try and keep an eye out for the St. Arnold Divine Reserve.
I made my woman drive all across town last year to finally land me a 6'er of Divine Reserve, and I was soooo disappointed. I actually thought it was terrible. Hopefully I enjoy this year's release more. Christmas Ale on the other hand is a great example of all that is right in the world.
Man I thought Randall's went out of business.. Which one did you go to? I might have to check Wholes Food near Sugar Land/Hwy 59.. They always seemed to carry variety of beers...
I have two weeks to get my liver ready for the cask conditioned Christmas Ale cataclysm... I had one Friday and one Saturday... I need to step up my regimen.
No one is a fan of the other local brewery? Southern Star Brewery. I like all of their beers better than any St. Arnolds I've had. Wish they had bottled the 2010 porter. It was quite tasty.
I like their blonde bombshell, everything else, not so much. There's another brewery, "no label", out in katy, too.
Be careful that the blonde bombshell doesn't leave your artichoke hearts in shambles when she goes off on a date with her ex the next morning.
so having to hear about this for the last two years I finally get to try this tonight. My friend who is Dallas for the year brought a 6 pack back for me as a christmas present after I asked him to try it and let me know if its any good. i am about to try it myself hopefully it will live up to the CF hype
