****, in Arkansas there are no Sunday beer/liquor sales at all other than in bars/restaurants. You can't buy anything at a grocery store/gas station/liquor store.
I actually found my first 6'er of Christmas Ale this season a few weeks ago at the Kroger's in the Heights. I fully intended to update this thread to let Max know the good news, but I forgot. Please forgive me.
Ah, we bought our first St. Arnold's Christmas a couple weeks ago at HEB. I love how one beer makes me all warm and fuzzy inside and then promptly puts me to sleep.
My buddy is having Christmas Ale served at his wedding reception... I am seriously worried about my liver.
I may in fact drink the face value of those tickets. I need to start training ASAP... I am really out of beer shape.
Damn Max, I was all excited thinking you had already found some Christmas Ale. The anticipation is killing. I need the Christmas Ale!
You guys should crash my buddy's wedding... he's getting a cask (yes, a cask, not just a keg ) of it... and he's getting it before it's being released to the public... don't ask me what kind of compromising pictures he has of Brock Wagner... but there is no way we are going to be able to finish it all.
yeah, i really liked it. but then i like ales generally, and love them when they are fairly strongly flavored. Lighter beer, but heavy on flavor is how I prefer to roll. The description at the link describes it accurately. Hoppy, earthy, hints of citrus and cream flavors. Very tasty.
