Did Rockets sell more tickets than other teams? Look at all those empty seats and you should have a better idea now.

Did Rockets sell more jerseys than other teams? How many Lowry jersey or Martin jersey have you seen on the street?

Did Rockets go into playoffs deep to make extra money? 2nd round once in 15 years and just missed playoffs twice in a row.

So how is Rockets making that much profit? Look at those Chinse ads you should have a better idea now. Don't tell me Rockets would get those ads because of Chuck Hayes.

I'm not saying every penny Les made is from Yao, but 8 mil per year from Yao is just plain laughable.

Many fans say he is one of the better owners because he spends a lot of money on improving team performance, he just doesn't spend it on the luxury tax, which if you don't know END UP MAKING EVERYONE ELSE RICHER. He spent a lot of cash to hire Morey, then he spent even more to buy equipment for DM's moreyball. He also spent money on draft picks, which is something even guys like Cuban don't do. In fact, the season before last he spent 9M on picks and David Andersen. That's your cheapskate owner? Obviously you have no idea how real tightwads operate.

the thing is, adleman is a better coach than either of them. If you're only a couple of additions away, why would you get rid of one of the top coaches in the league that your players love playing for?
