That is total BS. To say Francis and Cat don't run well is nuts. That SF "only" threw home run passes - BS. That would mean Posey wasn't running, he was cherry picking - not so.

There is no reason why this team can't get up court faster - not fast break necessarily - sure if it is there do it. Walking it up is JVG's style. Getting it over half court by passing is not. That is the real point. He prefers 4 players going downcourt for a half court set up while one brings it up court.

This isn't about a fast break only offense, it is about getting the ball into the half court with enough time to run several options. JVG's system is not causing that to happen....

Again I am not saying that we hinder Yao's development, just play more to his strengths now - high post vs low post and develop his low post game in practice.

Utah has much better shooting forwards and fastbreaking forwards than Houston. Starting Cato and Jim Jackson tends to hinder an offense.

If you had watched a single game this season, you would have both seen and heard JVG yelling at Steve to do just what you propose. Steve looks at JVG then walks it up the court. So your claim is not only wrong, its ridiculous in the face of the evidence.

He apparently didn't watch last season either if he thinks a couple of baskets coming off steals made the Rockets a fast-breaking team!! :(

Again, Steve, Cat do not know how to run a break. Ask any highschooler who plays ball.

If you don't want to take my word for it, just watch tonight's game. Otherwise, please leave - your drivel is poisoning this board.

Take your word for it? Talk about drivel....

So I take it you need to watch tonight in the hopes you may have some sort of proof for your unsupported truisms....
