lol, some reporter asked Pop if this was going to change his offense any.

He just stared at him for a couple seconds and said "are you serious with that question..."

They'll be fine once Ginobli gets back, i think he's really their best playmaker. Parker and Duncan are really better finishers.

    ^^^^

Reminds me when Craig Sager asked Pops after TMac's 13 in 35, "How did he get so hot?"

"How the hell do I know he got hot, he got hot, players get hot..."

Spurs won't make the playoffs, they're going to dig themselves into too deep a hole too quickly. The roster's looking like TD, Mason, and a bunch of old dudes and NBDL scrubs. The problem is the Spurs didn't develop much youthful talent or get some key acquisitions like an Artest or Maggette the past couple years and have been riding it out with pretty much the same group of guys.

Yep, especially because they are highly experienced and can win road games. Even Game 7 road games.

They won't make the playoffs??? Are you kidding? Even if the Spurs start 1-10....who's gonna end up with a better record than them to knock them out of at least the 8th spot?? When Parker and Ginobili come back, they are going to be fine....I predict at least a 7th place finish for them in the West, and they'll make an incredibly dangerous first round opponent.

That would suck if the Rockets got #2 seed and had to match up against the Spurs in the first round.

Hopefully. They are playing like scrubs right now. I hope I will see them not making the playoffs. It would be sweet.

Pops not going to play Manu, TD, and Parker 40+ minutes a game for the rest of the season when they all come back. That's what it's going to take unless they acquire another creator/scorer, there bench is filled with useless scrubs.

They'll probably throw away the season, and try to do a one year rebuilding like circa 1995-96.
