i'm not going to throw dirt on them yet because i don't wanna jinx it and if manu comes back in full form, TD+parker+manu+anybody is a damn tough team to beat, but looking at their role players outside of duncan and parker is amazing right now. they were pretty thin in the playoffs last year, with the big 3 seemingly scoring almost every point, but how did their front office let it fall off like this? their starters outside of duncan and parker were finley, bowen, and matt bonner. 2 of those guys are 35+ year olds on the downside of their careers. and 1 of those guys is matt bonner, the star of such questions as "who the hell is matt bonner?" and after mason, the bench features jacque vaughn, george hill, kurt thomas, oberto, and udoka. that's just not a great bunch of players.
you mean they make 9th in the west with dallas making 8th and we play them and kill them in the first round with a sweep to stop all the media against the rockets forever!
Beasley is the real deal, dude is a stud offensively. He needs a decent haircut though cause that looks like a homeless look he's got going on. He also looks like he's smoked his fair share of joints. Spurs are effed now, no Flopu and now Parker is down. Go Spurs Go!!! to hell lol!
SA has been bitten by the snake. Great news, however, for fantasy owners of Duncan, Parker, Mason and (potentially) Ginobili. I feel sorry for them.
If all of their key players are healthy come playoff time, the Spurs will be a very dangerous 1st round team.
i don't see how they make the playoffs right now. with parker, they struggled mightily; without him for 2 weeks worth of games is going to hurt badly.
My biggest fear is they tank this year and get another first pick next to start another dynasty. Small market team.
