popovich is surely pissed about Raja cherry picking like that for a one on none fastbreak. Ginobili did not get back. you can't do that against the suns.
And it's ironic that that senor poster earlier in this thread criticized JVG for saying that (though he accused JVG of saying something else). He basically said that the Spurs can't do that on defense.
what was crazy about that shaq jump into the stands is that there just happened to be an open seat in between 2 people right there. if that seat isn't open, then his jump to avoid the 2 kids would have been a huge shoulder straight into someone. that could have really hurt someone. luckily, there just happened to be an open seat right there.
Dude he wasn't flying full speed, he could've stopped, but doing it that way gets him on Sportscenter and provides entertainment. Did it for show. Amare not playing with much heart right now.
The combination of the Spurs being the dirtiest and roughest team in the league, matched with their incessant whining, makes me pissed off every single time I watch them play. They literally attempt to deceive the refs on every single possession. That should be outlawed, just like a dive is outlawed in soccer.
i disagree with JVG saying Shaq fouled Ginobili. That was a good no call. Shaq jumped straight up to block it, and the ball was already released. Defenders are allowed to jump to block. That's what Yao gets called for all the time. Nice to see the no call.
Good win Suns! Now we're just one game back from the Spurs. That's so awesome. Players don't dive into the stands to be on sportscenter...that's just silly I simply just don't agree with that. 4 other posters here agree. He was going to hit the first row of seats ... most certainly.
