Spurs running a clinic on winning without superstars....Rockets need to take a lesson

    How is this thread still alive? The title alone should have been enough to warrant a lock. My math counts three stars in San Antonio. I guess his follow up piece will be how Boston is beating the Heat with no stars and we should model ourselves after them.

    Sorry but your math serves you incorrect. What is up with all these idiots that think there are 30 superstars in the NBA? Did you watch how durant and lebron carried their teams these past few games. Those are superstars. Those are the guys you build your franchise around.

    If anyone actually read the original post i have always been under the impression that superstars are what wins championships but when the spurs went up 2-0 I decided to open up the possibility that a team like the spurs that do not have a true superstar might win the championship. It proved to be incorrect and my original thought process for the past 20 years of watching NBA basketball held true.

    SUPERSTARS WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS

    People like reeko and other morons who kept posting about how the spurs suck and how they are a terrible franchise are not being objective. I get that considering we are rockets fans and they are our in state rival. I on the other hand am an objective observer that takes the hate out of it and looks at it for what it was. They had won 20 games in a row and were up 2-0. I am happy they lost because i hate the spurs but to think they suck and act like a child is complete and utter nonsense.

    That will be my last post regarding this thread only a few of you had anything enlightening to say and for that thank you.
