Spurs Nets game 1

    Martin, Collins, Williams, all did get those ticky-touch soft fouls called on them in the first half, that was the thing it was very much at one end. Did you see Martin's first foul, he was lying on the ground after helping and didn't even touch Duncan.

    Hmm, ticky tack foul on a man who self pronounced himself as the league baddest, most physical post defender ?

    what's ironic about soft fouls called at one end and not the other........

    Spurs in no more than 6. Lets not forget they had the best rd record in the league. The thing is, this is and always be a big mans game. If you don't have a big guy who can command a double team, you can't win. If you go through even recent history, almost every team had a guy you had to double team. The Nets , for every game they have won, don't have that. K-Mart is a good ec forward and probably 2nd best in the ec, but in the west, he's down the line no better than 5th. That makes a huge difference in playing against a team. The Nets, even though they are better this yr, they are really in trouble against the Spurs.
