A nice two way point guard. Raptors? Rockets?

Cory Joseph would be a fantastic pickup for the right price. Adequate defender with a decent shot as well. His arrow is definitely pointing up.

Lets offer him $5M plus the extra E from Pat Beverley's name.

Would be ideal backup PG, can defend and hit shots. Rockets should take a serious look into acquiring him.

Sign him, Morey! He's improved every year he's been in the league and played well for the Spurs last season.

My guess is he'll command more than the MLE. Stuckey just got 7m a year. Rockets won't be interested is my guess. They're only "all in" for the right price apparently.

At this point I'll take anyone better than Terry and Prigs

Maybe. But if teams start to run out of capspace, the MLE may be the best he can get. I think he's worth it. That would be a pretty solid PG rotation: Bev, Joseph, and Terry. No stud on the roster(unless Joseph continues to improve and becomes one), but all of them bring strengths to the table.

Whenever I watch him play, Corey Joseph does quite well. He's ready to be more than a 3rd-stringer. Very good energy level and plays within himself.

Good backup. Shoots a high percentage from 2. Plays D. And most importantly he knows who he is and doesn't play beyond himself.

Wright is a rookie, a team that's trying to win in the playoffs can't rely on a rookie to be their main backup point guard. Plus Lowry gets injured a lot. They need a legit backup point guard, I think.

    Although....

My one concern about Corey Joseph is that he might be a product of the system.

Spurs system may have made him look better than he is.

According to the recent Feigen article the Rockets view using the MLE to sign an FA as going on a "spending spree", so I'll believe it when I see it.

Then what is it there for? If Morey intends to add a PG via trade, that's great. But he better do something. We can't have Bev and Terry as our only options. Hell, right now we don't even have Terry under contract.
