And I suppose you know it all, right....Mr Insider? I don't know who you think you are, but you're just another fan with his 2 cents around here. So keep your rude comments to yourself.

Don't forget the Spurs got Tiago Splitter, who has a lot of promise. He's only 22 and is why Scola was expendable. This is what people keep forgetting. How Scola and Splitter compare to each other in the NBA will determine if the Spurs made a bad decision.

I don't expect much out of Jackie Butler. If he gives us 8-10 mins/game for one season, without being a total loser, we'll be fine.

From what little I have seen Scola play, it looks like on offense he is really going to help the Rockets. He is a PF and really makes it impossible to double team Yao - off the PF. That is going to make Yao so much better right there.

Scola also moves and passes very well so the motion offense or whatever Aldelman's game plan calls for is going to make full use of Scola.

There is really no down side on offense. On defense, Scola will get fouls because he is a rookie and he is aggressive. He doesn't looke like someone that another PF will be able to just back down or easily shoot over. It Scola stay out of foul trouble, he is really going to help this team.

P.S. He may not have played a minute in the NBA but he sure looks about as ready to go as any rookie I have EVER seen come into the leaque. I think there is no agrument there. OK, maybe King James and he played in high school so where was the competition.
