I can go back to disliking the Spurs now.

Failing to put away LA, and going back to their collapsing ways while doing it, give even more reason to do so. :(

**** SUCKER. You were our best hope, Spurs! You were the last and only hope of stopping Malone from cheating his ass to a ring! You had to keep your **** together! The Kings or Wolves can't do it. They don't really stand a chance now that the Lakers are on a roll. YOU SUCK, SAN ANTONIO. YOU SUCK HUGE. Now that dirty b*stard from Utah is going to retire happy and it's ALL YOUR FAULT YOU BASTARDS. HE DOESN'T DESERVE IT. HE DIDN'T EARN IT. HE WILL BURN IN HELL ONE DAY. OH GOD HELP ME HE BETTER BURN IN HELL OR THERE IS NO GOD.

The Lakers had two 1-3 records against Minny and Sac in the regular season, respectively. Missing Malone had a part to do with it, but the situation is not that desperate for Minny and Sac even now with Malone back. Minny is poised to play against the Lakers and they have a chance. Our last hope!

    Cassel > Parker

    Spreewell > Ginobili or Bowen

    Wally > Hedo

    Garnett > or = Duncan

EJ and Trent and Kandi = Nestoric and Willis

    Go Wolves!

I really hope the Kings or the Wolves beat the Lakers. But I am not too optomistic about it. I think the Lakers just won the championship with that win last night.

I cant believe how horribly the Spurs CHOKED; up 2-0 and then lost FOUR straight games! I think Phil outcoached Pop with his adjustments and the Spurs just couldnt recover.

As much as we Rockets fans complain about shooting, man did the Spurs have a problem with that or what? Think they want Stephen Jackson back? The fact that the Spurs had to rely on Devin Brown for the last two games to give them good shooting is ridiculous! I bet Turkoglu wont be back with his hideous performance! I can see them going after Jackson again. Amazing to see the rise and fall of Parker in this series as well. Just goes to show he has a long way to go to be a 2nd star sidekick to Tim Duncan.

My new favorite team in the NBA playoffs is now any opponent playing the Lakers! ;)

I would love to see a Wolves-Pacers NBA final. But chances are it will be Lakers-Pacers. I am not watching the NBA Finals if it is Lakers-Nets again.

I'm gal the Wicked Witch of the East is gone (Spurs), unfortunately it means the wicked Witch of the West (Karl Malone) moves on.

Don't count out the Wolves, they were statistically the best team in the league this year (#1 FG-OFG, T#1 FG, #4 OFG). They can play wicked D, and have more scoring options than the Spurs. The Spurs and Lakers were favorites based on pedigree (previous rings), not how they played this year. And if Sac plays well enough to beat Minny twice to win the series (I don't see it, but if they win today game 7 can go to anyone) I assume they are playing defense closer to how they did the last 2 years than this year.

This thing is not over people, go Minny!

This playoffs is over, sad to say. The wolves are a 3 man team with no answer to shaq down low. The kings have shown that they mentally do not have what it takes. The lakers are playing great D, and Kobe is still unstoppable. Do yourselves a favor and don't get your hopes too high. I've done it too many times in the past, and it's just more painful.

How sweet is was to see the Spurs blow their 2-0 lead, and lose four in a row.

The Rockets and Spurs, still tied at 2.

Especially when you consider that it's really like one and a half titles for the Spurs.

Then I guess we have 1-1.5 titles ourselves, sans MJ around...

Cause POP SUCKED this series too

Maybe I was hard on JVG

I also hate the lakers, but you have to give them credit for flipping the switch. Before game 3 of the spurs series, their rotations were nonexistant, and their offense was not clicking as well. Games 3-6 of that series had a completely different Lakers team, one playing championship caliber defense. However the rockets did not play against that team, maybe with the exception of game 5.

The Kings were a fluke bounce or a single extra made basket from beating the Lakers 2 years ago.

The Wolves are 3-1 against them this year and most importantly have been statistically the best team in the league.

Underdogs, yes, but they have as good a shot as beating the Lakers as the Spurs did, and if not for Fisher's miracle SA would have a chance to win the series in game 7 on their home court as the Kings tried, and barely failed to, 2 years ago.

The gap between the top teams, including the Lakers, Woves, Spurs, and Kings, just isn't that big. I suspect an EC team will push the finals to 6 games before losing too.
