After watching it on ESPN late night. The clock started on time. NO question about it. Even Doc rivers said that with .4 seconds there is time to catch and shoot but with .3 it would have to be a tap. He emphasized how important that .1 seconds is. Amazing game. 2 Goliaths going at it. Too bad one of them has to lose. In my opinion. THIS IS THE NBA FINALS SERIES RIGHT HERE!!
If spurs are true champions, they will make a come back from down 2-3, like what Lakers did against Kings in 2002.
I really hope whoever wins this series comes out flat against the Kings/Wolves series. There is no best of two evils between Spurs/Lakers.
I actually think the NBA is one of the more rigged leagues. But that Fisher shot looked good to me. He went into his motion as soon as he touched it, and hurried it... I think you can do that in just under half a second. My problem is with all the unnecessary fouls the Lakers get.
wow. what a finish! damn the fakers are so lucky! if only the rocks had that kind of luck it'd be spurs vs. rocks right now. looks like the fakers are going to win the series. i'm so
which of course explains how kobe got no fts and 27 shots, as well as shaq only shooting 5 fts. those two obviously got unnecessary calls and should have combined for 4 or fewer fts per game, right?
Damn, why do the Lakers always get the lucky shot, even when their opponent got one with less than a second left? Damn! Looks like Horry's magic expired last year about this time.
I was mad too, but I have to admit that the Lakers jercey maybe, always gives them composure and will. In NBA, everyone can win against anyone, on the end, it just comes down to who wants more badly. The Lakers have some sick confidence in themselves, to pull out in games like that. Things don't look good for the Spurs at all, but somehow I still believe they can bounce back.
The difference is that the Spurs played poorly in the first 3 quarters. So I guess they didn't deserve to win. But who am I kidding, Lakers didn't even deserve the first Championship. Yes, they fought back from 14 points deficit, but with the help of Shaq's offensive foul and offensive goal-tending. People just forgot everything about it, the only thing in the book is that they fought back with poise and confidence and all the crap. NBA officials are very experienced, but since the system is flawed from the root, compare to Soccer or Hockey, its officiating is the most criticised. Because you can have star players to "draw fouls" in this special sports event, and the cheaters and "floppers" are never punished.
I think GP should get some credit for making a perfect pass (speed and location). There's no way Fisher would have even gotten the shot off otherwise.
