After two games against Mavs and Heat, western and eastern champions respectively, I am looking foward another win. What I'm worrying about is the team rebounds cause of the absence of Chunck.
I think the Rockets are having the momentum in terms of confidence and motivation. Past history only have more burden on the Spurs. As a Borussia Dortmund fan, I still remember the 97's Champions League final, when Dortmund faced Juventus Turin. Three years in a row before that match, Juventus beat Dortmund in important European competitions. But before that final, even guys like Del Piero admitted that Dortmunder came strong, and past history only gave them more motivation, but put higher pressure on Juventus. It was a clear 3-1 win by Dortmund, completed by an unforgettable half court one-time volly lop by Lars Ricken. What a day, and what a match. Although it's just a regular season match, I do see this week as a defining week for this old/new Rockets team, facing tough opponents. The coach and star players are the same, but the team is new, especially the mentality is new. They believe in themselves, and believe in each other, that's what seperates good teams and bad teams.
me too. chuck is exactly the type of player we need to beat the spurs. definitely looking forward to the game.
This is our year...I know the history, but I can't wait for this game...I'll be going to a sports bar to watch this...
Chuck Hayes is finally getting the love he should get. Now that he's out, we know his importance in our team. He's our Bob Sura PF-version.
If Battier, Alston, and Head continue to knocking down those outside shots Yao and T-mac, the Rockets definately can and will be the Spurs. Count on Yao to put up 25+ point, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and 2 assists if he doesn't get in foul trouble in the 1st quarter. Go Rockets!!!
after the 13 in 35, tmac did not play the spurs last yr. Its his time to get back in the groove, whether thats scoring or directing.
a soccer fan, wow, but now both juventus and dortmund dont have a good time, the two giants r both struggling...one for next years european champions league and the other for "going home"... athleticism is always cruel
