You guys that are on Spurs Kool-Aid are no different that those on the Celts wagon 3 years ago when they started 33-3. The Spurs will go through rough patches. They have zero chance of continuing to win at their present clip. They will not play at this level much longer. When they start losing a few, I'll start the thread saying "I told you so". The Bulls of 1996 are safe. I'll be surprised if the Spurs finish with the best record in the NBA. I'll also be surprised if Manu, TP or TD don't miss time because of injuries. The magic carpet ride will end.
The Rockets are two players away from being better than the Spurs. Unfortunately, those two players are Dream and MJ from the 80s-mid 90s.

What team would not be better then the Spers if they had prime Dream and MJ? By the same token, I don't think the Spers are so good that you need prime Dream and MJ to be better then them.
