This is a very solid move for SA. I still like a Duncan/Thomas frontline over a Pau/Bynum one.

Brent Barry has been traded to the Sonics, but remains out with a calf injury.
He should be set to return in the next week or so, but will likely have a limited role with the Sonics, just like he did with the Spurs, and we're hearing that the team plans to waive him before March 1

Spurs are around 400k or less under luxury tax. So they might not be able to afford re-signing Barry.
