You think Patti Mills, Cory Joseph, Daniel Green or Gary Neal will be the next Manu? I dont.

The Spurms are 4 games away from elimination!

Their management needs to really reconsider their future.

While a second round failure is unlikely, the need to address their future is valid regardless of their success this year or next.

We actually should if that were to happen, honestly. Patterson and Scola probably wouldn't be here, so why not?

Green's my pick to be the next Manu in that he's the starter now, doing very well & has a lot of upside. His game resembles Manu's with his ability to drive the basket & hit 3's. Mills will take longer to fill in for Parker, but then, during his 1st 2 years, no one dreamed that Parker would become 1 of the top pg in the league. Besides the Spurs have 1 of the top(if not the top) scouting teams in the NBA.

With all things considered, they don't need to break up the big 3.

Danny Green's "upside" is what he's doing now. I bet this ends up being the best season in his career. His game bears very little resemblance to Manu. Very funny.

Danny Green was a role player at North Carolina and that is what he is in the NBA. The chances of him becoming anything like Manu Ginobli is slim to none.

It wont be long before Manu has little to no trade value (he will be 35 this summer).

No, they dont HAVE to breakup the their big 3.

Let me ask you this, how many more years do you think Manu can play at this level? 1? 2 more?

And if they trade him now for a young guy who has major upside, how many years will they get out of him? 10? 12?

As we know full well in Houston, it takes 2 to make a trade. But if the right guy presents himself in a Manu deal, if I was SA, I would give it MAJOR consideration.

There's no chance of them choking it away in the first place.
