I remember when Deke got a T for smiling after being called for a foul. Some of these refs are just wayyyyyyy too sensitive.
Ding. Ding. Ding. In fairness to Duncan, pretty much the entire team acts that way. Of course, so does most of the NBA, I just don't like the Spurs.
So, the Rockets better have at least one of its top 2 FT shooters in the game at all times during games vs. SA?
from the title of the thread and article, i thought this was an anti-flopping rule. damn. but then again the title would have to include dallas also.
Even as a Spurs fan, though, I'll admit Tim Duncan has a special ability to act completely innocent and make these shocked facial expressions even when it's an obvious hack. It's uncanny.
Imagine if they start to get him for those over back/push-off fouls. He does it at least 20 times a game.
No, you are wrong. It's JVG's fault. Seriously, I like this, but the potential for abuse is huge. Players that instinctively bark after every call degrade the NBA product IMO. This "Drama Queen" garbage has gotten way out of hand. I'm sure very few here feel this strongly about it, but when players whine after being called for obvious fouls they look really immature and stupid. We can only hope this solution isn't worse than the problem. Let's wait and see. I don't think this change has as much bite to it as we think.
i like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. wait what were we talking about? oh calls..right technical fouls? hmm if they crack down on this why dont they start giving him the respect he deserves.
