Hoping Straw can put up a .350 OBP with 30+ steals, maybe around .700 OPS Tucker I'm thinking puts up around .275/.340/.510 or .850 OPS, so a little improvement from 2020, hoping he develops. Does need to be more selective and swing at his pitches. So hoping for 1.550 vs 1.600 OPS, not bad at 1/30th the price.
I will always root for George......but I would be lying if I said the injury news didn't kind of make me feel like: "That's what you get for leaving" https://www.mlb.com/news/george-springer-injures-quad-while-rehabbing-oblique
He doesn't deserve injury for leaving. He got more money and moved closer to home. Springer definitely doesn't owe Houston anything.
2020 Springer/Reddick .899/.693 2021 Tucker/Straw .761/.559 (after 9 games) Tucker trending in the right direction. Not sure about Straw.
Straw has reached base in like 37% of his PA,which should be his only measure of success. Maldonado hitting behind him has likely cost us a couple of runs already.
Man that's cringe worthy for Straw. I know the dude is here because we couldn't pay everyone but he stinks. When dors a prospect come up for him? The summer?
It is. But I expect he will get every opportunity. I would be surprised if there were even whispers of replacing him before the all-star break. Probably not even then unless his stats stay cringeworthy and/or someone else rises out of the system that can play better. I almost wouldn't mind having Reddick back for $750k. Need to develop from within though.
I hear ya. Who's in the farm that could possibly come up this year? I doubt we trade for a CF. But maybe.
Springer/Reddick = Tucker/Straw Now solve for Dick in this equation.to get the answer... That you are probably gay. And that's Analytics.
