stay at the hard rock, its got the pools, the girls, and the clubs. you'll pay some more, but its a good deal http://www.hardrockhotel.com/las-vegas/hotel/promo.cfm?id=290 you want to stay at good hotel on the weekend
yes it perfectly safe, it takes you the back end of the strip casinos from mgm to the sahara you still need a cab if you want to check out the popular off strip places like the palms or the hard rock but for navigating on the strip its great http://www.mgmgrand.com/special_offers/ http://www.lvmonorail.com/
It runs from the MGM to the Sahara mostly along Koval and Paradise. After Bally's the only other stops are to the Convention center, the Hilton and the Sahara. The RTC double deckers are probably a better choice since they are ON the strip, not off. Their rates have gone up, but I think they are still better since they stop in front of every casino and they take you to downtown or the shopping outlets on the south part of the strip. And there is always a bus, you probably won't have to wait more than 10-15 minutes.
This sucks! I can't find cheap airfare from 3/16 - 3/20 I don't want to buy a 13hr flight to LV for $377 RT. Anyone got a good agent?
Heading to Vegas Sunday. Flying Round trip from Lubbock for $150 on Southwest. Staying at Flamingo for $55 a night. For that price its unbeatable. Its in the very middle of the strip and they have fixed up the rooms considerably. Plus they have a great pool. I have stayed at nearly every casino in Vegas and depending on what you are doing should really dictate where you stay. The last time I was there I was getting engaged so I stayed at the Venetian. But when I am only going for a short 2 days to basically gamble and see shows there is not point on forking out a ton for a room you will barely be in.
Will be heading out next week. 4 nights at the Wynn, life is good Anyone ever eat at the Red 8 Asian diner at the Wynn? I can't afford the other restaurants... Any last tips?
I liked the Red 8, but I think the best value is the buffet. Take a cab to this place if you want Asian food that won't drain your wallet: http://www.saipinchutima.com/
