I don't know why the app ratings are low, I'd suggest reading their comments. I imagine it's because people downloaded the FREE app, then realized they had to pay $10/m to use it. I've used the app extensively on iOS and had no issues. The only exception being when there was a bug where it crashed everytime I loaded iOS, but that was a long time ago and has since been fixed.

I've previously paid for Rhapsody and I believe this is the better service.
In other words, ratings aren't everything -- and don't believe everything you read.

Agreed. Then again I just recently unlocked / rooted my phone, so I may find something that has those built in.

 

Is this on Gingerbread devices? I've yet to try it on ICS. I wonder if it uses the built in music controls. I'll let you guys know.

Oh, then I won't try. You're not crazy. A lot of music or podcast app's I use still don't use the ICS lock screen controls

 

If you don't pay for a subscription are you supposed to be able to play any music from the mobile app for android??

 

No, you have to be a paid subscriber to listen to music on either of their mobile apps.

I highly recommends "Doods Music Streamer".

I still pay for Spotify though lol. Idk why I like it so much.

I also have a nice little Pandora app with unlimited skipping around. Just PM me or search for it
