Yao needs to go over and talk to refs more often, instead of just saying what the....and running down the court. He really needs to get cool with the refs....kiss em like Rafer.
I don't know which is more amazing: that you can listen to radio programs in the future, or that the Rockets will be facing the same issues in a year.
LOL, good catch. At my job, we always work a month ahead and label files as such. I guess I'm in a zone when it comes to putting '07 on everything right now.
Yao needs to take lessons from Deke on how to throw them elbows. That'll let the defense and refs know he's tired of their ****
I loved Mobley and Kenny because they worked hard on and off the court, first and foremost. The fact they didn't get enough credit is a coincidence. It is merely a coincidence that the recent players I love often happen to be the other fans' trade bait. I also loved Hakeem and Barkley...so, it's more about passion and working on the court, than whether they get credit for it. Now the guys I love are Yao, Head and Hayes. I like Battier, too, but I favor players who the Rockets drafted/discovered. Also, I wish Battier would stop talking like a politician. He's so melba toast sometimes. Hayes is starting to make those layups now. He's so awesome. Head is my personal favorite; I've been following him since Weber became coach of UofI. I just love cocky, cool-hand-luke shooters who want to take the last shot. And no one works harder than Yao to improve. Personality-wise, there's something about the way Snyder handles himself on the court that I love. And Yao is just a naturally personable person. Doesn't come off as coached at all. btw, I just searched for any article on the Drexler ejection for more nice memories...turns out wikipedia has the story....they're so awesome.
Thanks for that. I'm not sure about the "very respected by the players" part. Maybe, maybe no. I really like Hayes, too. I just wish he would back off on defense slightly. He seems to pick up too many fouls where he has to get to a spot just in the nick of time. Sometimes he does, but often he picks up a foul. Luther is great, but I like him at two guard rather than point. He has really improved his handle since last year. Must have worked on it a lot. However, his court vision and passing/play-making are below par for a point guard. I like him and Billy together. Even though Luther brings the ball up, he often gives it up to Billy. Then a lot of times he gets it back, makes a bucket and gets an assist for Billy. I really prefer Luther spotting up and Billy trying to set up a play rather that vice-versa. Of course, Billy has to cut down on his turnovers and really work on his jumper. I hated to see Snyder get hurt. He needs to get comfortable with his role with the Rockets. Sometimes sitting and watching can help and maybe it will for Snyder.
I like Billy. god, I'm so freaking ready to love him He is a natural on the fastbreak...just not enough info yet. It's like asking me last year whether I like Luther this early in the year.
you must not have seen when clyde tried to cheap shot dream in the back of the head. most fans forget that because it was, obviously, when clyde was in portland. still, i remember it...
