    Possible players in the team:

    Yao/Mutombo
    Howard/Hayes
    Battier/Novak/Bowen
    Tmac/Snyder/Vspan/Head
    Alston/Sura/JL

I persoanlly think Head n Howard will be traded. Head just wont get enough play time since we signed Vspan.

Overall above team looks solid and with everyone healthy this team will be awesome.

VSpan is a PG, I don't think you'll see him at SG this season. With that said, I think Head will get more minutes than Spanoullis.

I think Head is going to be traded. I was dissapointed he did not show up in Vegas when some better players were playing.

Yea.. I wanted to see him play too, but he is playing in the less organized, but much more talented Fonde Summer league.

Also, I wouldn't be suprised to see VSpan get some minutes at the 2. His skill set seems a good fit w/ the slashing and midrange shooting. I personally wouldn't want to see him get primary ballhandling responsibilities initially until he gets up to speed w/ the nba game.

Head + ? as a mil $ player coming back may not be quite enough to creat a splash.

I think he will be more of a SG than a PG. He penetrates well inside and creates his own shots more than a playmaker. Also he is tall, i think about 6-4/6-5. Watch for JVG play Yao/Battier/Tmac/Span/Alston at times if Span really plays good.

Some will call this negative but I'm just being realistic. Vspan isn't even coming here until September. I doubt he does very much for us this coming season at all. Adjusting to the NBA will be a huge step. He will be like a rookie and I think some have unrealistically high expectations of this guy. At best, he may help us late in the year.

The videos I've seen don't impress me at all because the defense played on him was a joke. If Vspan can't consistently hit from outside he won't be much help. If he can't play decent defense he better compensate for it on offense. If anyone here thinks he's just going to step in and pick up where he left off in Greece you are dreaming. I predict JL3 will contribute more than Vspan. Then all of his supporters will start silly "Free Vspan" threads and blame JVG for his failings just like others blamed Rudy & JVG for Boki's ineptness and blamed JVG for Stro's lack of heart and skills.

You heard it here first. Prepare to be disappointed and it won't be JVG's fault. He's here to win games now, not develop an unproven player who might not pan out.

I challenge someone to refute my doubts about Vspan. I want to be excited about him coming but to me he's just Plan D because other options didn't work out.

Awesome, so the Rox finally signed VSpan to shore up our PG deficiency. But it is very dissappointing to hear he isn't going to show up until September. Rox definently need to sign Lucas to be the primary backup PG as it will take the better part of the year for VSpan to climatize to the NBA.

Korver makes sense for both teams.

Philadelphia will be looking to rebuild after trading AI. Korver has a decent contract, but it is for 5 years. The Sixers can get under the cap in 2 years. If they get Wally World from Boston, then Korver becomes more expendable.

Houston gets another 3pt shooter for the inside/out offense (Remember '94 & '95) Korver had an ok career, but Korver has not played with an offensive post player. Korver is the best option available for the 4.2 TE. If you pair Battier, Novak and Korver with Yao and Tracy, then you will have at least two 3pt shooters in the line-up. This will become very important in a close game and in the playoffs.

The other day you said the Rockets weren't even getting V-Span. So much for the predictions, eh?
