hate to throw this in with chances of Matt seeing this. I like him as a reporter, listen to him many times on the radio, even called into the Rockets Fan Feedback after a few games, but was basically rude to me when I tried to say even whatsup to him at the Jam Session (Feb. 17). Adam and him were at their both doing their show at around 8ish? (after the celebrity game I attended), I really wanted to say something to MattJ since he is the one doing the after game show for the Rockets and is a member here, but just stood there, staring at me not saying a word and was listening to a female worker talking to him? Adam was speaking to another fan and once he was done, he gave me attention and said whatsup to me. I shook Adam's hand and expressed my appreciation for their show and listened all the time.

I know he is not some salesman that is suppose to make everybody all wanted, but I was dissappointed that he did not say a WORD to me and I was literally standing in front of him while I just waited for someone to say something and it was Adam.

In all honesty, Lance and John are pretty entertainning sometimes, Mark/Rich are entertainning too in which I usually listen to both while I am in the car. I try to listen to Matt/Adam whenever I am off, or just at work. I guess since I really just now started to listening to the station, I am not as negative as everybody else is towards the station.

Even though Lance and Chance are my boys...gotta jump in on the group beat down of 610...just kidding. But...

I thought it was in bad taste to "badmouth" (if you can even consider it badmouthing) Clutchfans, considering it's probably one of the best/largest unified (or as close as you can get to unified) team message boards in the league, and probably in all of the 5 major sports in the US/Canada. When you have a group this large, there are bound to be morons, just like 610 has idiot callers calling in saying to trade Yao for Ratliff or saying TMac should be a bench player that comes in and plays 20 minutes and scores 16 points a night(this was on this mornings show, with the guy that called them out on being Yao haters). That thread was more the exception, than the rule, as normally idiot threads are locked right away assuming Clutch is around.

Anyway, that's my two cents. And speaking of two cents, if you want to find crap you don't need for cheap, go to trailer wheel and ....sorry. Got carried away. :)

Edit: For the record, the morning show has been my favorite show, but Matt/Wex are closing in fast there, not that John/Lance have dropped. Matt's show was great alone for 2 hours, but 4 hours with him and Wex, I would normally tune in before I started working the night shift (no pun intended) for all 4 hours while sitting at home after work and doing random things. Rich and Marc has grown on me a bit, but Rich's man lust for Vince is starting to get annoying, hell, even creepy.

You just walked up to them and stood there and waited for one of them to say something? If thats the case, that seems a little weird to me.

Or did you say whatsup and then stood there are waited for a response? Maybe I read what you wrote the wrong way.

Hey, I'm just glad they're talking about the Rockets at all! Enjoy it while you can because baseball season is approaching.

Well I walked up there, giving his space while he was talking to the female worker there. You would think as someone like a radio personnel like him, he would reach out to the audience and hi to whoever comes up to him. Like I stated, I maybe blowing this out of proportion cause he is not like a sales person or anything, but hell, at least Adam said something to me.

Btw to stay in topic about the thread, I think its dumb that he said that. He always mentioed these boards before and had praised it. I remember they mentioned the "Photoshop the Pain" thread from last years playoffs and said how they loved it. My guess is just that he viewed our boards unfortunately to that one thread. Clutch did his job and closed it once he had confirmation that it wasn't true. As Clutch stated, it was hard to keep the thread open because of Tmac's history of losing people, he wouldn't be hush hush about it. It just made sense that it could've been true. Once Clutch had confirmation on it, bam, closed it, case down, it was not true and even changed the thread title with FALSE in bold letters. Lance needs to chill and go to the ESPN boards and flame in there. Maybe he's Lancet and or that one dude that started the ESPN boards calling us Clutchfags

Its their style to criticize everything. It'll just bring in more fans who'll want to know more. Actually, in their language, great advertising, especially for all the people who want to find something out without listening to a jillion commercials.

Other than Matt and Adam, the rest of SportsRadio610 is crap. Unfortunately we don't have a lot of better options (P.S. ESPN 790 sucks, and their obsession with "balls" and testosterone is downright annoying).

Good Post...about a Not-Ready-For-Major-Market Lance/and Show. (Grennato is OK sometimes without the immature and bratish boor and bore but LZ is never good either with JG or at any time. Of course his daddy is a coach...)

I did hear it this morning and if I wasn't heading to work, I would have started a thread about it.

I thought it was really a low-blow and a stupid, condescending remark from Lance, whom I normally like. This forum has done its fair-share of promoting SR610 through numerous threads in the past. If Lance had just said that he was disappointed in fans posting that particular thread on this forum, and that he was upset it wasn't immediately locked afterwards by the moderators, then it would've just passed as a personal criticism and nothing more. But no, he threw in a couple of "stupids" in his out-of-the-blue remarks about this site. I thought that was uncalled for and childish on his end.

He said something along the lines of having Clutchfans blocked from their work computers by Chance or something to that effect (I might have misheard, but I think that's what he said). I am not sure if he meant it WAS blocked or that Chance SHOULD lock it, either way I thought it was a dumb comment. If he doesn't want to visit this forum, then just don't access it. Are you too addicted to it or are you a child or what? Just don't log onto it if you don't like it.

Next to the dumb "amateur journalism" by Mr. Lord in the past, this was yet another dumb comment.

Lance went overboard here, I am not sure why some personalities in SR610 are badmouthing the BBS...Is there a competition here or some bad blood or something I am unaware of? I thought the two parties were mutually beneficial to one another, but I might be wrong.

They're threatened by it. You can learn more about current events (sports and non-sports) in 10 minutes of reading this forum than you can by listening to their whole 5 hour show. Seriously.

Like they say in Hollywood, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

I'm guessing that maybe Mattj starting the thread about Vince Young scoring a 6 on the wonderlic was a bigger reason for them to ban clutchfans from their computers than the TMac thread. ;)

After his "pass the butter, ma!" and "dryhump the statue of liberty" takes in the Fire Gundy thread, I'm looking forward to it. :D

I didn't disagree with that he said. Something along the lines of discussing your guys is all good, but when push comes to shove, back them up (your guys). I couldn't agree more.
