    Rich Lord is fair
Mark Vand. loves movies and music and should stick to calling Texan games.

He also said Joe Johnson wasn't worth $70 million.

I heard the interview this morning on the way to work. I'll try not to echo what Bullard4Life said. :p

    - Barry said he will play next year even if not with Rockets. Said he wanted to play with Rockets but there hasn't been much discussion yet. John Granato wanted him to camp out at CD's House until the deal was done. Barry said he would pitch a tent on CD drive way.
    - Barry is coming to Houston next week for the T-Mac softball game. Barry was excited to learn that JVG was playing and sounded like he wanted to mess with him.
    - Barry said he was a zero handicapper at golf. Shot some 69s before. Never played at Agusta National as it is usually closed when he has gone there.
    - Jon called his brother Brent at 9am after the Spurs won the Championship and Brent answered and said it felt cool to win. Jon said he wouldn't even be back home yet from partying if he had won the Championship the night before.
    - Barry didn't really have a clue of what was going on in the NBA these days other than what major news outlets reported (not a Clutchfans member I see). Barry didn't know anything about the Finley speculation - didn't like the idea of bring in another SG as he and Welsey are our SG now. He didn't know about the "Allan Houston" rule - He questioned if the cut play still got his salary.
    - Barry said he would call in each week next year if he is in Houston. He liked talking to the 610 guys.

Geez guys lighten up, it is entertainment after all, you gotta have a schtick.
Who would you rather drink beer with some no nonsense guy or the smart ass that gives you and everyone else a bunch of sh*t.

At least Vandemeer will be glad to see your vitriol is actually for all radio personalities and not just him.

Agreed. Granato is f'n funny. I liked his "crap" schtick with the trailer wheel & frame ads, his "footlong" schtick with McKinney and lots of the other crap he throws out there.

I'm sure JB knows about Finley. There was a ton of sarcasm there. Granato asking JB's opinion about whether the Rox need another shooting guard is just funny to me. Lets face it, there's no real football or bball to talk about (unless you are dying to talk Comets and Canadian league). They have to do something and it better be funny.

Well, he didn't sound very sarcastic to me. He sounded like he honestly hadn't heard anything about the possibility of Finley being cut, and he damn sure didn't seem thrilled with the possibility of the Rockets taking an interest.

Russ was good. Very good. In his day. Then he seemed to grow disinterested, bored. Unprepared. He still pops up on 2 as a fill in. (And is selling Beamers on 59, IIRC.)

Well, the last thing you told us was that the Rockets had supposedly asked Eddie Griffin to come back...which seems to have been completely wrong, so I am not too worried this time either.
