    JVG & CD wanted a shotblocker next to Yao. Swift was basically the only guy in FA that fitted the bill. TMac didn't identify Swift as a talent the Rockets should pursue, he just helped with the recruiting aspect.

    I thought he mentioned Damon Stoudamire and Stromile as players they could use.
    I think he was definately looking at Stoudamire as someone who could shoot. Tmac saw the writing on the wall for our need for shooters.
