It was never about a player's performance. I do occasionally criticize Lin and Harden but I am still rooting for their success and Rocket's success. It is about obvious coaching mistakes. We could have lost last night, we could have lost other nights and not even come close to making playoffs and I would have been okay as long as we played our best. The coaching has been an issue that needs to be addressed during the off-season. Nothing to do with what we are complaining about. Good job missing the point completely.
No it is exactly what you and your type are complaining about, but if you were to admit it, it would expose you. So you just keep up your complaining and in a year or two you will move on to another team or interest.
wow, red herrings ... What about the ISOs and small ball? You're gonna blame the line-up for that? Esp when McHale also used small ball a lot last season to our detriment. Harden keeps bricking in the 2nd half and he still insists on shooting us out of the ballgame. Holding the ball for x number of seconds before making a weak move like passing out. You'r gonna blame the line-up for that? We have played beautiful basketball when everyone is moving and cutting and defending. The contrast is so glaring.
Anybody catching him today? Just saw a tweet of him saying Beverley has "rondo-like" qualities....but I can't listen to it

He's likened him to Rondo (light) before. I don't necessarily think it's a bad comparison, but if you'd have to compare Beverley to one NBA player, I think the better comparison would be Eric Bledsoe, no?
What? Did he seriously say that? How are Beverly and Rondo similar? Rondo is a passer and finisher at the rim, where Beverly is a high energy guy who can shoot the 3. The only similarity I see is their rebounding prowess. So what other similarities are there in their games?
Interesting what Morey said about how he doesn't mind the high number of blocked shots. It means we are attacking the rim. He would prefer we go at shot blockers than try to go around them, which usually ends up in a miss anyway.

Interested in what he has to say...if anybody can summarize it for us non-listeners it would be greatly appreciated!
-Breaks down the hack a X philosophy. -No sleeping during the playoffs. -Nationalists are wrong, bev signed for the next couple of years not one as Stein and others were reporting. - Delfino to get MRI today. - We are no way near the playoffs without lin. - Garcia's Defense on Durant, how it inspires everyone else to pickup their D where is the machine j.R at?
Thanks for the summary. Most of those are non-controversial as you'd expect from a GM but it was interesting that he said "We'd be nowhere near the playoffs without Lin" I'd like to listen to this interview. Is it possible to post it here? Please.
Ha, you pretty much have it covered. Each game is a game of adjustments. We're trying to figure out what adjustments they'll make. (On what Scott Brooks did last night): I might dodge that one. They're doing what they think is best. (Carlos is) getting an MRI. He's been playing on a hurt foot. I think someone stepped on it. He's been playing with a lot of pain for the whole series. (Lin is) close. Good chance coming back for game six. (Jeremy is a) good player and having him back will be good. We're not anywhere near the playoffs without him. (Beverley a FA?) He's signed for 2 more years. Looks like we'll keep him. ... The usual contract. We always try to get 3 years. I learned my lesson with Von Wafer. Beverley, he's doing pretty much everything better (than expected). If we knew he could crank it up to this level this quick, we might have extracted him from Europe quicker. The offense is best in transition. Half court, better when we move the ball. Late, most teams end up in iso. You're trying to control the clock. We're better moving the ball. (Praise from fans on the job he's done) Its a team effort & unbelievable team of people. (Sampson) Can't comment on rumors but I think he'll get looks as a coach. Loss for us but happy for him. When it looks like we're gonna win, that's when I'm most tense. OKC the most hostile atmosphere. It's the only game in town really. Credit to them.
