I like Dunleavy...he'd be a good choice. I like the fact that he has been out of coaching for a few years, especially given Larry Brown's tendency to talk about quiting all the time. Dunlevy should be fresh, he has seen the league from the macro perspective for a while. He'd be my top choice right now.
What has Duleavy done? He's been fired more times than I would like. The 91 Finals was because of Magic not Dunleavy. The only other time he was close was the choke job in Portland. Personally I would rather try and pry Rick Adelman away from Sactown or Flip Saunders from Minn or Jerry Sloan from Utah. Jerry Sloan would ofcourse be the most gratifying if we could get him. Could you imagine how pissed Utah fans would be if we got Jerry and Karl Malone next year. Dunleavy sucks let just hope CD doesn't make another crappy decision. WHY IS CD NOT FIRED ANYWAY?????
ahh, if only the world worked like that... the issue is who is the best of the available, not the best in the league. We're not likely to start trading first round draft picks, money and a player or two for a coach when there are so many other qualified coaches available..
