well i'm pretty certain that rich and charlie aren't going anywhere. they just had a promo for a remote they are doing one day next week at Sidelines.
Here's what I think after listening to some of both shows today. I think the morning crew is going to the afternoons and the afternoon crew is going to the mornings.
i like the afternoon crew better than the morning crew. it might be because i am never awake to listen to john and lance. my "morning" show is marc vandermeer.
That would be crazy... nutty. I also doubt Charlie and Rich (who have seniority) would be happy at the chance of waking up at 4am every morning, and having to stay up late to catch all the sports action from the day before. Plus, the morning guys are more style over substance... entertainment over sports. That's great for the morning, to "wake u up...", but I'd never listen to their schtik in the afternoon. But, I think we can all be safe in assuming that THIS WILL NOT happen.

Absolutely true. . I wonder - if the Chris Baker show is supposed to be so highly rated, what does 610 do to compete? Not Dan Patrick. Baker comes on at 3 and ends at 6. This competes with the last hour of the ESPN preener and the first 2 hours of the Kings of Minutiae. The station could use a little more spunk right at 5:00, precisely. I'm sure the rest compete reasonably well. I'd like to see the arbitron, though, by time slot. John and Lance v. Sam Malone? hmm - not target demo. Dean and Rog? Raul Brindis and tookie bird? Vandermere v. Country Western? Rome v. Rush? Matt Jackson v. what? The quiet storm? The answer is the answer. Snatch the pebble from their hand.

SportsRadio 610 ChaCHINGes are nothing more than doing away with their "NOBODY GIVES AWAY LESS MONEY THAN SPORTSRADIO 610" Chance...can I have 50 bucks if I'm right? or can I be the first contestant on whatever givaway contest they'll have?
Maybe their getting rid of ESPN radio and bringing back Sporting News Radio!!! I loved that show. Bob Kemp was my favorite before he went off the air.
Man, you guys blew a great chance for a nice April Fool's joke - you could have put something outrageous on in the morning and we would have fallen for it because of all the talk. I guess I'd feel stronger about this if I had more than a 5 minute commute, most of which is generally commercials.

this absolutely sucks. like one caller this morning stated, "having rich & charlie in the morning is like having steak for breakfast." i totally agree. what a horrible move. john and lance are decent, but they get off topic too much and they try to be funny, which is good for the mornings... i don't think i'm going to be able to deal with them in the afternoon. i hope this is a one day, april fools thing.
