Ok look at the 15 players that got drafted ahead of him, he's shown potential to be better than 2.
The players who got drafted after him who's had better showing are: Faried, Parsons, Shumpert, DMo, Marshawn Brooks, and Isah Thomas.
If he is top 10 then tell me which 12 players he have had a better showing.

What? The 2013 draft class is expected to be no worse than the one this year.
The Raptors pick is locked at 3-14. It's all but certain will be
Look at the way the protection on the 3 picks they got:
-Either New York and Denver pick, which ever one is worse. 2 seasons from now.
-The earliest they could get the Philly pick is in 2015 and that's top 14 protected.
-The Laker's top 5 protected pick is in 2017 at the earliest. That's at least 5 years from now.

They used their amnesty on Arenas already.

I've had my differences with you in some previous posts... but let me help you with this one.

No one the Rockets had to offer was better than Bynum. Period. Maybe one or two will develop to be as good or better Bynum or maybe they will all be busts. No one knows. But what we know now is that Bynum is a stud.

There are some reasons some may choose for not wanting Bynum as the GM of Orlando did but no one can argue that he is the best player by far in the trade outside of Dwight. I think Orlando was nuts for not wanting Bynum in the deal.

Either Dan Fegan threatened to blackball the Magic to players around the league and the club took it seriously, or DeVos or Martins made a promise to Dwight at the deadline (to work with him on a preferred destination in the offseason). Or some combination of the two.

Either way, something outside of the realm of normal trade negotiations occurred. The deal Orlando took is simply not logical absent some sort of outside leverage.

A bag of chips with dip and 2 Packets of Tim Tams for Howard is still better than what they recieved.

Tim Tams for those that don't know...

    1996 Draft:
    - Kobe Bryant 13th over all
    - Peja Stojakivic 14th over all
    - Steve Nash 15th over all
    - Jermain O'Neal 17th over all
    - Zydrunas Ilgauskus 20th over all

    1998 Draft:
    - Rashard Lewis 32nd over all

    1999 Draft:
    - Corey Maggette 13th over all
    - Ron Artest 16th over all
    - Andre Kirilenko 24th over all
    - Manu Ginobli 28th over all

    2000 Draft:
Possibly the worst draft of all time, not a single all star caliber player selected in either round by any team.

    2001 Draft:
    - Richard Jefferson 13th over all
    - Zach Randolph 19th over all
    - Gerald Wallace 25th over all
    - Tony Parker 28th over all
    - Gilbert Arenas 31st over all

    2002 Draft:
    - Carlos Boozer 35th over all

    2003 Draft:
There were some good players like David West and Josh Howard but none that are All-star caliber drafted outside the top 6 players in the draft.

    2004 Draft:
    - Al Jefferson 15th over all
    - Josh Smith 17th over all
    - Kevin Martin 26th over all

    2005 Draft:
    - Danny Granger 17th over all
    - Monte Ellis 40th over all

    2006 Draft:
    - Rajon Rondo 21st over all
    - Kyle Lowry 24th over all
    - Paul Milsap 47th over all

    2007 Draft:
    - Al Thorton 14th over all
    - Wilson Chandler 23 over all
    - Marc Gasol 48th over all

    2008 Draft:
    - Roy Hibbert 17th over all pick
    - Serge Ibalka 24th over all pick
    - DeAndre Jordan 35th over all pick
    - Omer Asik 36th over all pick

Looks like a real possibility to me.

Typical lowballing morey..please give morey a reality check...the biggest underachieving GM in the nba. Fans of his say the good deals he's made for ariza and artest. But he got nowhere and his lowballing has made the rockets lose out on countless of allstars the past 5 years. MOrey hasn't brought in a single allstar on this team for the past 5 years or his tenure! What a joke..

Wow. Too scared to overpay by one dime once again. Our offer was better than what Orlando took, but only by a few pennies. Morey insulted Hennigan, plain and simple, and that's not cool. He should have offered Jeremy Lamb. Period.

If morey didn't want to give lamb, white, Jones for Howard he is crazy. I remember how much play had.

Good for Orlando not to deal with Morey. He talks about how he mad a face when ORL took another deal...any deal is better than what he offered. Morey made us (Rocket fans)believe that ORL management was the cause for trade not happening with Houston. When in reality it's Morey that caused the trade to not happen.

Don't care to deal with the Rockets:

    -Knicks
    -Bulls
    -Magic
    -Hall of fame coaches
-Seems like our current coach wants to bolt also (since Dragic left)

Lets continue our ways with Morey management :)

Is that why the Knicks made a trade with the Rockets one month ago?

I think the plan was to keep Lamb since trading Martin would leave a big hole at the 2. Everyone else was made available along with those picks.

    Please read the article again.

Meaning Dwight would still go to LA, we just get Bynum.

Hennigan was asking us to pay Dwight Howard prices and instead of Howard we get Bynum.

Yes, I would take a deal of Martin, Lamb, at least two first round picks and filler over what they received. If you're talking about the proposal not involving Lamb, I'm afraid you're confused as that would have involved the Rockets getting Andrew Bynum, not Dwight Howard.

    -Knicks: Camby trade
-Bulls:There were talks about a sign and trade Lee for Asik
-Magic: They asked us to be the middle man for Dwight to LA trade, and they sold us the pick to get Parsons.
