zidane shouldnt get all the blame for the headbutt...i mean that italian guy wasnt even looking. you should be prepared for random headbutt at all times.
here's a few different perspectives... As seen by the French... As seen by the Italians... As seen by Americans... As seen by the press...
actually that story got blown up because he sounded so stupid saying it. He coulda said something like I'm an Astronaut or I'm a Playah! I'm a Playah! and people would have reacted the same way.
Sports radio hosts and "analysts" were not talking about that aspect of the clip. <object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/PpwgYsYWwdc&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/PpwgYsYWwdc&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>
Who is the guy who got pulled over and didn't have a license so he showed the cop his basketball card?
I guess you didn't pay much to attention to the story then. If they didn't make a big deal about it, he probably would not have felt the pressure to apologize for it... http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=1657901
was Micheal Vick mentioned? If he was...second mention Ryan Leaf was a pretty pathetic QB but made it infinitely worse by running his mouth Jose Conseco
I don't know, you could argue that the sensationalism around his 'coming out' of the steroid closet actually helped him financially by selling more books, getting paid for apperances, etc. Being put in the public limelight again probably helped him bag a few more groupies as well. I guess time will tell.
