I don't know if this was posted in the other threads, but I heard a commercial for the new station on 740 this morning. It starts 12/20. They only advertised Pallilo and ESPN, specifically Dan Patrick.
I know I haven't heard their station yet, and I'll give it a shot, but other than Palillo's show, I'll have the AM station on 610. I really like most of the changes -- John and Lance going to 11:00 is great, and Matt J's show is really pretty good when he has a partner. Chance, have you all been auditioning partners, what with all the different guest co-hosts he's had lately? The Afternoon show is pretty below-average though. I like Vandermeer, but he's not good with a partner, IMO. Rich is pretty strong, but he needs a good co-host. I hope he moves over to 790, and gets back with Charlie, because they have great chemistry.
I never turned on the AM radio till this year so I have no clue how bad things are on 610, cause I like it right now..
I tuned in tonight at midnight. They welcomed Houston and 790. The weird thing is they said they are Fox radio, not ESPN.
I thought the ESPN 790 website was going to live streaming?? I guess I am still without Houston Sports Radio
Man, I wish they had morning web stream for 790. Would love to hear from this chick (Krystal Fernandez), but I would be more happier to see her live in action.
610 and 790 are airing the same thing right now. It's odd that they aren't streaming, 740 does and pretty much every Clear Channel station I've come across does.
been listening to 610..they hit a commercial and i switched over to 790...can't get a good signal at all in my office for it. chance -- is their signal weaker than 610's???
I couldn't get a good reception either. For 610 or 790. A little after 7am is when it cleared up for me. Well 610 did I'm not sure when 790 did but it's clear now. I wonder if 790 will turn to crap at 5:30pm like 610 does every day.
790 still doesn't come in for me. honestly, that's fine. i don't see me changing the dial, anway...particularly to listen to national programming.
I`ll give Charlie a chance in the afternoon because the afternoon show IMO isnt as good with MV. He is good alone, but there doesnt appear to be a chemistry with Rich that Chalrie and Rich had. Maybe it will come in time
