http://www.sportingnews.com/baseball/articles/20001013/266026.html Pretty interesting. Think we could get him back? Also, I don't follow Baseball as much as the NBA, but I don't ever seem to remember any such problems from him when he was here in Houston. ------------------ Hey, I've got a new signature! 302
Its possible, but I doubt the owner would eat the trade so fast. Plus we have an abundance of talent in the OF. We need Pitching. If we can buy anything, it had better be pitching. ------------------ humble, but hungry.
I couldn't agree more, but I do miss his clutch hitting. ------------------ Hey, I've got a new signature! 302
He didn't provide much clutch hitting in the playoffs. Game 3, tie game, bottom of the 9th or 10th, bases loaded, no outs, Pop out. Everett's always had a bit of an ego problem and I have always felt there was more to his trade than was reported. ------------------
Amen. I don't think we'd want him back. We've got a good outfield -- and guys like Hildalgo, Cedeno (sp?), and Berkman are only going to get better. They cost less, and come without the big mouth. I agree -- the Astros should spend their money and effort on pitching. Wasn't he just talking about getting Bagwell to join him in Boston, where the team is so much 'better'? ------------------ Stay Cool...
