Have we heard the Tysha story in the show yet . . . . Did he tell Bron the story . . [maybe with Shae] Spoiler paranoid so i am spoilering everything . . . lol . . . . I really want to see the Scene with Jamie's version of the story Rocket River
Its those obnoxious show only fans. They have made RR so self conscious that he can't even think freely anymore.
Yes, the show wikia says he told the story in the first season, at the warcamp where Shae first appears.
There is some serious crying going on over there .. . . about things that are not even close to spoilers. The Jamie and Tyrion scenes will be great. BTW - Has Tywin's brother been scene on the show at all? Rocket River
Both you and LosPollos have a point, but you've seen how quickly Game of Thrones threads can get out of hand. I think they have a good reason to be a little paranoid based solely on prior experiences dealing with this very issue.
Lol. But I think you need to cut them some slack. Since they don't have foreknowledge, they don't have the perspective to know how significant or insignificant a revelation might be. I think its normal for them to be paranoid about it.
Yes, he has. Three episodes in Season 1 and one in Season 2. I specifically remember him counseling with Tywin before a battle with the Starks when Tyrion shows up with Bronn, Shagga, and others of the hill tribes.
I a little dissapointed in the shows Arya/Hound material this season, I knew the intention was to have Arya setting off for Bravos at seasons end, so there would be filler material. But since that Tarantino-like masterpiece in the opener it's been pretty meh, in fact they have been missing entirely from 3 of the episodes. Looks like some stuff goes down next episode, I just thought these 2 have consistently provided some of the best scenes, and I would have liked to have seen more. My 6 top characters on the show right now in no order are Arya ,Hound, Tywin, Tyrion, Red Viper and Bronn. It's likely 4 of those characters will be dead or written out next season, so I'm a little concerned. And if Reek and Ramsay snow had been killed last week I would have been totally OK with it, their scenes are cringeworthy, and not in a good way. May be interesting to some, but I just have no interest in seeing that crap.
The kid playing Ramsey was in Misfits. . . and he was adequate but his character there fit his ability . . .. . [awkward nerdy guy] now I cannot see him as Ramsey . . . he is just to . . .over the top imo. Rocket River
One More Thing . . . . who do you think [character wise] has the opportunity to shine when those characters . . .fade in to the background? Rocket River
I kind of hope they recast Kevan when he appears again. Kevan is supposed to be Tywin's younger brother and that guy looked about 10 years older then Tywin.
If the writers handle it right Brienne and Pod could be a really fun duo, and I also really like Margarey Tyrell. Euron and Victarion Greyjoy are all about casting. I never thought Tywin was that interesting in the books, but Charles Dance gave him an insane amount of gravitas. A charismatic performer could make either one of them, Euron particularly, very interesting.
So Yara's mission to save Theon ended awkwardly. He didn't want to leave and Ramsay scares off the Kraken rescue squad with a few dogs? There has to be more than this. Tyrion raging on trial was epic. He's starting to look more like the Imp we knew in the books. Davos and Stannis, gotta love the bromance. Now they have Salladhor Saan and the Iron Bank of Braavos on board. And the Drogonator is now in full on beast mode. Can't wait for next week's episode.
I think it was done to show the audience how brainwashed he's become and how much he now identifies himself as Reek and not Theon. So when Ramsay asks him to "pretend" to be Theon, the audience gets it. The last thing the writers want is for the audience to believe Theon is just playing along and can snap out of it at any time and/or flee once he gets to Moat Cailin. His refusal to leave when his sister shows up to rescue him kind of establishes what his true state of mind is before he's asked to go on a mission alone. In the books, we're privy to Theon's inner monologue and we know how he genuinely believes himself to be Reek. That's much harder to pull off on the show.
True. He's more Ramsay's Reek now than he is Theon Greyjoy. Alfie Allen does a great job of conveying how psychologically broken he has become. He's as much a pet as Ramsay's "girls". The scene itself I thought was a little underdeveloped and didn't end in a satisfying way. This episode was very well done in every other way IMHO. It just stuck out as bizarre that the "fifty best in the Iron Islands" that Yara assembled as a hit squad would skedaddle like that. She mentions that Theon is dead. I took it as her giving up on him. Still, I would have like to see more fight in them especially since this was building up since the last episode of last season.
I think the third would be Dany's nephew, Aegon. So Jon, Dany, and Aegon which makes sense as they are all Targaryens and there would be a female leader and two male supporters instead of Aegon the Conqueror and his sisters.
I don't even think THAT Aegon is a real Targaryen but the child of Ashara Dayne and also Ashara Dayne=Septa Lemore. This is what I thought as soon as I read the book but I know others share that theory. It just seemed too convenient for Aegon to be alive but heck who knows I always thought the story of Ashara having a stillborn daughter and taking her own life was just a cover for something.
