just like maxines whataburger bully! thanks for making my point for me! hmm... most rational people can recognize that there are douchebags and violent assholes on both "sides". then you have biased, partisan hacks who say stuff like this... its worth pointing out that our president is a strong advocate of using violence and even said he would pay the legal fees of anyone who assaulted a protester. but his supporters want to say that only the other "side" is violent. they hold their president to a lower standard than the average american...sad.

This pretty much sums up my current political outlook. I've never voted until 2016, bypassing W and Obama's terms of more of the same. But Trump is so grossly unqualified, I had to vote just as a protest to the perversion of the republican party. And the rate the country is now going, I will probably vote the straight Democratic ticket for the next 20 years just to shift us back to the center.
That's an odd perspective. Things have shifted pretty far to the left in recent years....to the point where Democrat politicians from the 80's and 90's would be considered right wing nutjobs by the current Democrat politicians. Supporting a party that is currently pushing more and more towards the fringes of the left isn't really a way to shift things back to the center. I mean, it's to the point where you can't even call a lot of those on the left "liberals" anymore because as socialists they are opposed to many of the principles of liberalism.
